First contacted this practice about an appointment in July. First opportunity for a “screening call” with a nurse was in October. On the date of the appointment the nurse canceled due to being sick. Rather than making an attempt to help me get a reasonable rescheduled appointment, was just sent to the normal appointment process which the first available appointment was December. The day of the appointment was waiting for the call with the nurse and the call came from an unknown number and went directly to phone mail. Immediately tried to call back but was sent to the same round of automated robo numbers with no way to contact the nurse. In her message she said to reschedule!!! After having waited for 6 months already! Found out the next available appointment would be in February! The nurses name is Whitney. Based on the other reviews of this practice, I don’t think they really care about patients or their health.
One Month Later: NO RESPONSE; also, in reading reviews I noticed that this happened with another patient 5 years ago. I wonder how many people do not complain about no follow-up from Dr Ellison on their MRI. Duke takes your $300 to cover what insurance doesn't pay before they will do the MRI, but they will not contact you after the MRI. I had an MRI 4 weeks ago. No one from ENT at Duke has bothered to contact me concerning the results. I have sent 2 email requests (one to Dr Ellison and one to GRACE NIYONKURU) and made a telephone call asking to speak with someone. No response.
Scheduling is the worst! Waits 3 months for an appointment for them to only repeat what was already done 3 months earlier and then tell me their next available appointment is 11 months away. Unbelievable!
This is currently for scheduling only. I had an appointment scheduled for today, it's been on my calendar for months. I went to E-check in and the appointment was missing. I looked and they cancelled the appointment back in February. I don't check my chart every day. So now im calling to see if they are available today, because im ready for a hearing aid. (Whole reason for appointment). Who cancels a June appointment in February!!! I will update after I speak with them.
I’ve read some reviews on here about the wait times and I have not experienced that at all recently. I’ve been going there every few months since September 2024. I think the most I’ve had to wait was maybe 10 minutes to get called back and then maybe another 10 minutes for the doctor to show up. During that time you have the aid checking your vitals anyways. I’ve had several appointments with MRI, hearing test or CT with the following up with the doctor. I’ve actually been impressed with the time coordination and wait times. All the staff has been pleasant. Dr. Noam Bartuv is an excellent doctor and surgeon. During the office visits he has always taken the time to make sure I understand all the options. I’ve never felt rushed during any appointment. Now that recovering from surgery the incision looks clean and he was able accomplish everything we hoped for in a best case situation. I’ve had lifelong issues with my ears and I’m very pleased with this facility.
