I was admitted to this hospital on Dec 15th and was discharged Dec 17th. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and composed (despite how crazy busy the ER was). I truly appreciate everything that everyone did for me there. All of you are rockstars and deserve a raise! Have an amazing Holiday! Again, I can’t thank you enough 😊❤️💚

I couldn’t be more upset at your hosp. Before surgery making me stand in line for over 30 mins to check ins After surgery it’s a whole ordeal of asking to use the bathroom. Nurses don’t listen I need bathroom after surgery stop acting like it’s a huge issue and be quiet. And have my meds ready when I’m ready to checkout not make my spouse or me wait an hour.

Best experience possible!! I had S1-L5 back surgery on Monday, 11/10/25 with Dr. Gottfried who is awesome. My experience with him and the hospital was absolutely the best I could have ever expected. Hospital staff/nurses and doctors were awesome and very efficient. They explained everything and upon completion moved me into a room 3720, the nurses and medical staff were extremely accommodating. I woke up hungry at 3am and the nurse on duty found me a turkey sandwich and coke! Just super nice and made my recovery smooth. Just wanted to thank everyone on my wonderful experience given the nervousness I had going into the surgery.

My partner has had several occasions to be a patient in Duke Raleigh in the last few years some very serious that required prolonged stays and several procedures. We have always been pleased with the staff and doctors. We had another occasion today for a procedure. The check in was easy and seamless. The staff was very courteous and informative. The wait time was minimal. I was kept informed all along the way. They came for me promptly after he arrived in post op. All the nurses made sure he felt comfortable and were very accommodating to me. They are amazing. The doctor was very informative before and after. The entire staff made the whole process as easy as it could possibly be. Thank you Duke Raleigh

Worst hospital! Husband came in with foot infection. My husband was admitted and was given antibiotics through IV, which was fine. The nurses like to say “ I’ll let your nurse know “ when my husband needed something, but a lot of time would go by and had to go back to nurse station to let them know he has not received the help he needed. Foot looks bad and they are ready to discharge him. We were given another patient’s discharge papers. I realized it when I was going over his current list of medications, and noticed it was not his paperwork. Let the nurse know his foot is more red and still swollen. Asked nurse for my husband to speak with doctor. Nurse asked what my husband wanted her to tell the doctor. I’m sorry, but if you are a nurse, you should be educated enough to know what to tell the doctor.what is going on with patient. Very disappointed in this “hospital.”
