i usually don’t write reviews but the only good part of my visit was getting in and out. went in cause i was in a lot of pain in my throat and had fever. lady tells me. it’s could be a virus.. (okay which one) says “oh everybody had the same symptoms so i’ll just say it’s what they got." proceeds to test for flu and covid. negative. then says just in case it isn’t a virus would u want some strep throat antibiotics even though we haven’t tested you for it. then discharged me. i would take my chances at the big hospital next time.

I wish there was a sixth star! Had orthopedic surgery yesterday and the entire staff was great! My nurse, Samarah, (not sure on the spelling) was off the charts in kindness and professionalism! That young lady disserves a raise! Honestly, from check-in to post-Op was as pleasant as a trip to the hospital could be. Six Stars!

Brought my husband here after a series of being mis diagnosed at other emergency clinics. The doctor in the emergency room correctly made a diagnosis which saved my husband’s life. I will be forever grateful for the quick and thorough care he received.

My annual wellness health checkup was done at my primary care physician’s office on August 13, 2025. As a part of this checkup, blood test was to be done. The (2) nurses at the primary care physician’s clinic were unable to perform this task as I have rolling vein. After trying for few minutes on (3) different areas of my hand, they finally gave up and gave me a referral letter for West TN Healthcare Hospital. I went to the hospital and completed the formality of paperwork. I was asked to go to laboratory where a nurse tried to take the blood. She tried but had hard time with my rolling vein. She was nice and told me that she does not wish to hurt me more by poking needle in my hand. She dialed and asked for Ms. Heather B for assistance. Heather B. greeted me with a smile. She received updates about the issue. She checked my left arm and tried to find the vein for bloodwork. During this entire time, I never saw a sign of frustration on her face or body language. She was calm, controlled and very professional during this process. She and I engaged in social, family conversations which took my mind off the blood being taken out of my veins. She finished the task in one successful attempt. My general impression about Ms. Heather B. is that she is a professional, great attitude and a very caring person. West TN Healthcare North Hospital shall be commended to have such an employee. She is a gem of an employee. Please make sure to keep her with your hospital any cost as it is hard to find an employee like her. Thanks Ms. Heather B. from the bottom of my heart. God bless you and your family. Keep smiling.

Had total knee replacement surgery today. I will say every thing was amazing from the rapid check in to Mandy,Amanda, Melinda and Timothy the anthologist. Evey one was so fun and made the experience stress and worry free. When I got to recovery I had a few BP issues that they watched to ensure I was good to go before i did my walker testing. Matthew ( I believe was his name, he was from the Philippines. ) he worked with me taught me how to successfully navigate stairs, all while being the most friendly and funny guy. I would never thought I would have such a great experience in a hospital but this experience was perfect
