I’m glad that they take good care of their patients. But they need explain things to patients loved ones. My experience I felt like I was left in the dark. They didn’t let me know of their rules, visiting hours. They made me also feel like I was visiting a prisoner. And when my loved one was discharged I had to ask them to go over the discharge instructions. It’s like here is your loved one they have their instructions have a nice day. I hope this review helps them to communicate better with patients loved ones.

Mental health is a major problem in this country and this hospital helped through a very dark period in my adult life. If anything happens again whether mental or medical ill definitely use this hospital. Thanks

On August 25.2025,I was scheduled for an angiogram requiring an iodine injection. For me, any injection usually results in negative side effects. The Radiology dept., with MIKE at the helm, did an unexpected, outstanding job. In addition, I did not have to wait 2 months for an appointment. The registration was seamless. In and out. The twenty mile trip should be of minimal concern to a patient whose medical issues require immediate attention.Inordinate delays only exacerbate patient's condition for the worst outcome.

Horrible experience. If I could give a zero I would. I had a spider bite that was very concerning and everyone was telling me it looked like a brown recluse bite. So against my better judgement and not wanting to drive a half hour away, I decided to go to highlands, which turned out to be a big mistake as I am young and was by myself. I was kinda scared so they pretty much tried to steamroll me. The staff was rude and the doctor was condescending, he spoke to me as if I had no business being there as if my service does not make their paychecks. The doctor was also very rude and rolled his eyes at me several times within the 2 minutes he spent with me and basically told me that since I’ve waited 2 days already there was nothing to worry about. I could hear the staff talking badly about other patients and even talking to another gentleman that was in immense pain as if he was being dramatic which either way, they are taught to treat the patients accordingly to their complaints however they don’t. They treat people as if they are beneath them. Nobody has a smile or good attitude, everyone is miserable and ignorant. Don’t waste your time going to this hospital. They are incompetent. I feel I should also mention the experience my mother and father had with my baby brother. He had a gash above his brow bone that they thought might need stitches. The very much older doctor that was there that day decided he was going to use glue but did such a poor job at it that he glued my baby brothers entire eye shut. The staff and doctor instantly looked worried and started scrambling around for something that could fix it. In the end he needed to see an eye specialist and almost had to have a sedated surgery to have the glue clear from his eye. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!

I went here in an extreme amount of pain and constant vomiting. To be fair, I was dehydrated, but I got poked with 7 needles before they got an iv in me. Then shift change happens, some roid rage guy comes to give me nausea meds and it moves into my muscle instead!!! Just adding on to the pain at this point. He wanted to try again but when I asked the doctor for a break from needles, he acted like it was the biggest inconvenience of his day. Went to a different hospital and had to get gallbladder surgery the next day. I wouldn’t have trusted this hospital with my life in its hands.
