The Drs. and nurses were exceptionally helpful in doing the procedure as well as aiding in recovery after surgery. I had concerns being a small hospital but no more. The care I received was top notch to any larger hospital in city. Thank you St Claire!!

the front desk staff always have the absolute worst attitudes i’ve ever encountered. this is not a one time occurrence; it’s every time i have been here. they act annoyed with you no matter what you come to them with, and it’s absolutely uncomfortable and not okay. they did not take my concerns seriously the last time i was there. then the wait times are always 100% atrocious despite almost nothing going on. you’re more likely to get taken care of properly by going to sauk, or literally any other location.

St. Claire Hospital in baraboo in my opinion is one of the Best health care facilities I have come across in a very long time. When I come into the ER, I never have to wait more than five minutes to be called. Unlike some other hospitals I won’t mention. The nurses and the staff are always friendly and they are always willing to listen to you when you tell them what concerns you have. The doctors are great and they always seem to follow through after you have been seen in the ER. Bearable also has some of the best clinics I have been to as well. And I would not hesitate to recommend St. Claire Hospital or the ER to anyone who needs healthcare immediately. Deb O.

Giving one star because I can’t give 0. My wife was brought into St. Clare last weekend by ambulance unresponsive . When I got there I asked for an update they said a nurse would come update me how she was doing. We were there 2 hours and no official update from a Dr or Nurse that was working on her. Thank god for the security guard who saw my concern who kept going back and trying to get an update but was Atleast able to tell me my wife was alive. One nurse came out and we asked and she said I’m not working on her but they have her on a ventilator. Really!!!! Did not get an update from her Dr till 20 minutes after that nurse told me that. They brought me back 15 minutes before they were air lifting her to St Mary’s in Madison ( wonderful hospital BTW .) when I went back to see her they did not clean up any of her lacerations on her face she was still bleeding from one on her head and I had to ask the nurse who was very sweet for gauze. Come on she was there 2 hours and you can’t clean her cuts. Hello we were in a lake with dirty water??? Clean and bandage a little. I will say everyone was very Nice but communication was awful and care was questionable.

WARNING: CROOKS AT SSM HEALTH – AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT go to SSM Health for an at-home sleep study unless you enjoy getting ripped off. These people are dishonest, manipulative, and completely untransparent. They sent me a basic WatchPAT device — the exact same one you can get online for $180 including a diagnostic reading — and then had the audacity to bill my insurance $1,200 just to look at the results. Oh, and it gets better: they tacked on another $100 “doctor fee” even though I never spoke to anyone — no follow-up, no call, nothing. When I questioned it, the lady on the phone (which I recorded) gave some garbage excuse about it “covering the room the doctor needs to read the results.” What room? It’s a remote test! This whole setup reeks of scammy upcharges and backdoor billing. You can get the same test, with the same results, for a fraction of the cost through reputable sites like Sleep Doctor. SSM Health should be ashamed. This is health care fraud dressed up as business as usual. They prey on people who trust the system. Absolute crooks.
