You should believe every single bad review you will read on here. Stay as far away from this office as you possibly can. The up front staff is nothing short of abhorrent. After patiently waiting to be assisted, the rude staff blamed me for not interrupting them and asking for help. To add insult to injury the staff proceeded to call me condescending. Tell anyone and everyone you know to never step foot in this establishment. Celeste was very proud to give her name and continue to utter things under her breath towards me. Consider yourself warned about this clinic. Like many others, I thought all the negative reviews could not be true but you will be proven wrong, just like I was. The poor experience I had here will be shared across any platform where Pulmonary & Sleep Center is available. Shame on the office management for allowing such behavior with their patients. Shame on you.

I understand some of the lower reviews about wait times. As a licensed professional I get it. Crises happen in the moment and pulmonology is often involved due to critical care. I started working with this office as well as the McAllen office late last year due to insomnia initially. Dr. Kaplan, his team, and actually me. A doctor that wants to listen to understand takes time. In my field we often get 90 to 120 minutes to develop a full life history in order to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. I view a late doctor as a thorough one and wait times means high demand, not revolving door business. Anywho, this location is by far their busiest and houses most of their lab equipment so they are very busy. Just bring a book or a pillow and something to drink. It always just depends on the day. As far as my treatment, including multiple tests other doctor's in the same system were unwilling to do and found out so much about what was going on, including not getting any REM sleep regularly. Everyone here cares and I've honestly not had the same issues with front desk staff; they maybe just appreciate respectful communication. I'll also be leaving a more Kaplan specific review on the Mission location's Google page. Thank you!

Dr. Aubreu lacks self awareness to his patients. Assumes of his patients. Had the worst experience, very dismissive of patients concerns. patients are trying to get clarity, not to waste their own time.

This place seems to overbook themselves (specifically elders) to make them wait so long that they leave. The doctor was an hour and a half behind. Nobody communicated anything to the patients. Elder people schedule their days around their appointments and they are playing with people’s time and money. We waited two hours in the waiting room and finally left and they still charged us the appointment.

This has been one of the worst healthcare experiences I've had at a doctors office. The staff are untrained and were rude. It felt as though their primary concern was billing my insurance rather than providing genuine care or assistance. Look for care elsewhere.
