Kristin, the evening shift house supervisor turned this visit from 1 star to 5 stars. I drove an hour to have lab work done, and even though the lab had closed early, Kristin drew my blood so that I don't have to come back again. The receptionist working in the ER was also very helpful. Thank you !!!!
After working in healthcare for 16 years, this is the worst experience I’ve ever experienced in my life. Both physicians I saw as my provider seemed to not care. I waited over seven months for a referral to a specialist and had a physician tell me they refused to handle my care. Now my new physician won’t even respond or get me on medication I can afford. My uncontrolled asthma is going to end up killing me because I can’t even get an inhaler prescribed that I can afford. I have been without an inhaler for weeks now and when I do end up dying from not being able to breathe, my family will sue for negligence. I have been on inhalers for over a decade. Why is this so hard? I don’t want to die. I have small kids. Please stay away from this place and find something better for your safety.
I broke my arm up in Lake City around 4 PM and drove all the way to Reed City. They worked so quickly, it was really amazing. They put me under to set it, and I was still out the door feeling much better by 7:15. Nice work.
I have been here twice. Both times impossible to find an entrance. It was stressful. Plus wheelchairs are old and unsafe. My foot kept getting caught It just needs to be clearer
My granddaughter was taken into the emergency room. She was screaming in pain at 6 years old and her ears were really red. The Doctor came in, looked in Both ears took a little bit of wax out and said she did not have an ear infection, then sent her on her way without antibiotic. All night she screamed in pain. So my son took my granddaughter to the children's Devos hospital in Grand Rapids because her ears were beat red. When she got there, they rushed her into emergency surgery with a mass on her left ear full of infection. And both ears completely infected and drainage tubes were inserted in her ears. They told us we were lucky she didn't go septic and die. Never again will our hole family take a loved one to this hospital.
