If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. BOTH of my parents have suffered severe complications after receiving “care” at this facility, and I would never recommend anyone come here under any circumstance. The staff, especially the nursing staff, has repeatedly been unprofessional and rude. Slamming things around, and had an attitude. It often feels like they take their personal frustrations out on patients, which is completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting. My mom underwent gallbladder surgery here, and the surgical team left clamps inside her body, causing additional pain, stress, and further medical intervention. Then, my dad came in for a broken foot that got infected, and the doctor placed a steel rod with a large bolt straight through his foot and into his big toe. Now he’s facing the possibility of permanent damage, and we’re not even sure he’ll end up with full use of his limb. This hospital has caused my family nothing but trauma, complications, and fear. No offense but save yourself the pain and go literally anywhere else for medical care.

Daughter broke wrist at school. We called our pediatrician located in Greenville to ask if we should see them or go to the hospital. They told us to go to the ER. We then asked if we should go to Greenville or Helen Devos. They told us that Greenville is able to take care of breaks and we can go there. We literally asked, are u sure Greenville can handle it because we have no problem driving to Helen Devos but we’re closer to Greenville? They said, “yes, Greenville treats breaks.” Greenville hospital took X-rays and then informed us that they were not able to treat her and we would need to go to Helen Devos. No reason given. So we ended up having to take her Devos emergency room and get treated. I’m assuming it was because hey needed to sedate her to re set the break and they don’t have an anesthesiologist at the hospital in Greenville. Finally get the bill and guess what? Billed for BOTH emergency room visits when we were advised by or corwell health pediatrician that Greenville hospital could take care of us. I’ve called 3 times to corwell and keep getting passed off to the next person. I was told the best they can do is 100$ off the 6,000 plus bill. I’m not disputing the Helen Devos charges, I’m an only disputing the Greenville emergency room charge because we were misinformed and told to go there. Now they said I have to dispute the charge with my insurance company and they are not willing to take it off my bill. Moral of the story, do not waste your time going to Greenville Hosptial. Just head straight to Grand Rapids.

I went into the ER tonight for a concern and I got my vitals started right away, super friendly staff. I didnt have a wait time. After vitals I was brought to a room. A doctor and nurse showed up and they both were so nice and informative. I felt at ease and my questions were answered nicely. Doctor was very thorough and explained everything well to me. I cant believe how nice they were to me! I left feeling really good about my health! Its always amazing when you have a doctor that loves their job. He has a gift and a passion to help people and it really shows. The same with the nurse! Thank you for taking good care of me and being quick to get me home!

Based on the previous reviews I'd say the place hasn't changed at all. This place is awful. When we first got here the receptionist greeted us with an attitude. Had to sit in the waiting room for 2 hours with my mother who was in tears almost the whole time because of severe back pain. Then when we were brought to the back all the rooms were practically empty so what was the wait for? They also took others back before her that had less of an issue and that got here after us. I'm not sure if there was anyone there they actually cared or wanted to be there. Professionalism was lacking hard in the front lines where its most important. You're the face of the hospital. The ones staffed make you not want to return.

If I could give this hospital a 0 I would. Mediocre care by staff. The last straw was they discharged my family member and were supposed to contact me so I could meet them at the next facility. Well my family member was already at the next facility alone and we were never notified. I called the receiving facility and found out the patient had arrived.There was another instance I ask for communication it’s been days so pretty sure not getting communication w them either. The 2 doctors took their time and explained but the nursing staff ( with the exception of a couple) we’re pretty bad. Staff talks a good story but did not follow thru well. The role of hospital nursing is not only patient but communication with family as well. Nursing was always so sorry whatever it was happened. In the next breath oh well we have x# of patients so we just don’t have time we’re just too busy. Waiting over an hour for already past due pain meds…. Might just as well be at home patients get better care. I will NOT go to Greenville Hospital ever.
