If you have sleep apnea you might be OK coming here. But Restless Legs, insomnia, narcolepsy are ignored. Office staff was very nice and knew more than the nurse practitioner. After the NP talked to me about a new CPAP machine Dr Patel stepped in to say hi. And go over what I needed to do before getting a new machine. Spoke quickly and was gone. I'll do a home sleep study which doesn't include any sensors for leg movement which is why I don't sleep. Want to get off med for Restless Legs, NP didn't know to taper off the med. To give her credit she looked it up right away once I said I thought a taper was needed. Still looking for a practice that doesn't treat just apnea.
I read these reviews and wonder if I was with the same staff and Dr as the folks that rated with 1 star. I had a great experience. I was diagnosed with CHF and Pulmonary HTN and refered to Dr. Patel. He was great, very attentive, let me speak and ask questions, explained everything to me and addressed my other health issues also. His staff was very kind, friendly and helpful with scheduling tests and follow ups. I'm sorry some people had a bad experience here. I love this office staff and Dr.
I was in hospital following a hernia repair because I developed a blood clot. I was getting a Heparin drip for 48 to 72 hours before I was supposed to transition to Eliquis. On Saturday, almost my 3rd day, Reetu Kashinath came almost storming in my room and without a hello said, "Why are you here"! Who says that to a patient!! She has no bed side manner and should not be practicing medicine! She was a mean bully!! I'll never use this practice ever again and you should think twice before you use them! Reetu Kashinath is a terrible doctor!!
Dr. Patel tells you one thing and the secretary tells you something completely different. So which one is telling the truth? He's a really strange Dr. And I won't be returning. He comes into the exam room and sits down, then he tells me that there's a patient before me and gets right back up and says that he'll be back in about 10 or 15 minutes. He leaves the exam room door open too. He didn't really address my other issue I came in for either. I wish I could get my copay back.
I waited an hour past my appointment time to be seen by Dr. Brown. Afterwards, I didn't mind because he did not rush me. He took the time needed to explain my test results in detail and the pros and cons of all assorted options for treatment. He answered all of my questions. He told me the suggested first choice of treatment, but respected me when I choose a different option to try first. The office staff were professional and friendly.
