Penn Medicine at Media

They were horrible, due to insurance they weren’t going to take me back after 4-5 years will Julia Kasper knows all about me. They weren’t even helpful , no empathy. Where or how to rectify the situation.Great to know medical field and Trump go Hand and Hand.

Had a wonderful first visit at this office! The office itself is a little dated, but everyone was extremely prompt and made for a very smooth process from start to finish which I find is rare for a doctor’s office- I barely waited at all at any point during my visit. Dr. Kick is also great-really glad I switched from Penn Presby to Penn Media!

they stopped one of my anxiety meds cause i need to med check or something. and because i had car issues and missed the apointment all of a sudden the wait for an apointment went from like a few days to 4 months. like i dont even want the apointment i just need the meds refilled. theyre anxiety meds. i take several medications for a heart condition i have and this is one of them. so ya know, if i get an anxiety attack i could end up hospitalized. to even refill it on the app its still a 3 day wait but i already ran out so by the time you read this im probably already dead. ive never had issues with this place before but i definitely do now. like nothing had changed so why do i need a med check? like ill tell you if i have an issue with the meds, YOU DONT TELL ME AND THAN JUST STOP MY PRESCRIPTION. my heart doctor would never do this shit with my other meds and he never has in 3 years. so yea. im looking around for new doctors.

I’ve been happy with the doctors I’ve seen, but have been really disappointed with the rest of this practice. I can never get an appointment went I am sick, but am instead constantly sent to Urgent Care. I frequently am told I’ll get a call back about a question I have but no one calls. Today, I did get a call back, but the person that called me complained about their day and how they couldn't wait to leave work before telling me they didn't have an update for me, then yelled at me when I asked if I could get a call back the next day from someone with more info. I also witnessed front desk staff being rude to an elderly patient who came in to settle records for their deceased family member. While I have been a patient here for years, my usual Dr. at the practice retired in June and I can't get an appt to see someone else until January, so every time I call the office they basically tell me they can't help me until January after my 'intake' appointment. This practice does not live up to the usually solid reputation of Penn Medicine.

Neglectful. Not treated humanely. I witnessed the woman at the desk be absolutely brutal to this wonderful little elderly lady. I wanted to say something and I didn’t. The following care I got from my physician’s assistant was equally as bad. I’m officially done with this office and after reading the reviews, I feel completely justified. I’m sorry for anyone who has to had to experience the treatment in this office. I hope you find a better doctor because you deserve it.
