I had a Total right hip replacement with Dr. Selgrath from 3B orthopedics. Everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing. The care I received pre-and post operation was first class and I would highly recommend Jefferson Bucks to anyone.
It is 9pm on 12/18 My elderly father has been in the EMERGENCY ROOM waiting room since 1:30pm earlier today. Elderly diabetic father. I sent him there over 8 hours ago because he keeps passing out and can’t use the bathroom and he’s dizzy and he has lost full circulation in his big toe. You have got to be kidding me. Making someone with only 3 people ahead of him sit out there that long. My sister had to leave work and go sit with him so he didn’t pass out again because he damn sure wouldn’t get seen by these people if he did. They don’t care about there patients. PLEASE CHOOSE ANY OTHER HOSPITAL THAN THIS POORLY RAN, circus. Now there gonna answer and try to defend themselves. Please just ignore there lies and find another hospital. They should all get there license revoked. They could care less. And the people at the counter there could care less as well. They were talked to numerous times and even gave my sister an attitude for asking on hour 5, I’ll say that again, HOUR 5 IF THEY WERE GOING TO GET SEEN SOON AND THE LADY GOT AN ATTITUDE WITH HER!!! Please take you or your loved ones anywhere but here!!!
I hade to be at hospital 930 . Didn't go to the back until 1045. I didn't get to the procedure until 1230. That is a really long time for a diabetic, from 7pm the night before till 115 pm. Why so long. The procedure was only about a half hour. The nurses were all happy they got free coffee from the Dr's.
Scheduled surgery and staff, nurses and doctors were phenomenal. For those I can remember off the top of my head Nurses Nicole *prep prior to surgery and Dennis in recovery absolutely fantastic. They were caring and attentive, both listened to any questions I had and answered them fully. Anesthesia dr, Dr M also reviewed all my questions and was very reassuring. My doctor Dr Sadiq was great from initial consultation, discussed everything with Barb in scheduling also awesome to day of surgery as well. I even had a dr in waiting area while I was prepped noticed I was nervous and helped me calm. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
I arrived 30 minutes early for my scheduled ultrasound appointment. Within 15mins I was checked in and instructed to sit in the waiting room for my name to be called. There was one patient there waiting prior to my arrival. During my waiting time, there was approximately 7 to 10 patients that arrived after me and was called before me to be seen. Note: Everyone that was called before me were Caucasian and I was the only African American in the waiting room. Im not trying to make this a racial issue, im only stating the facts.Once my name was called, I ask the woman why did it take so long for me to be seen. She did not have an answer. She apologized for the long wait, stated she was only a student and said she would report the matter to her Supervisor. This student was allowed to begin my ultrasound unattended. She performed the procedure for 20mins. before the experience technician came in the room and introduced herself and said she will begin the ultrasound. I questioned why would they allow a student to perform medical procedures without any supervision. The technician stated it is common practice to allow a student to learn without direct supervision. She asked the student if she'd informed me that she was a student and she said yes. Note: The student informed me that she was only a student not out of transparency, but as a defense as to why she couldn't explain my long wait time. Needless to say, I am not happy with the overall experience and I will not seek additional treatment at this facility nor will I recommend anyone to this hospital.
