Checking in was seamless. Dr. Natter was thorough and was attentive to my concerns.
The staff were professional and courteous. My appointment was on time and thorough.
First time here was November 18th with Dr. Loose i maybe sat in the waiting room for about 5-10 minutes before i was taken back to basically a walk in appointment that i schedule the same day! I appreciate the ladies and how nice they were at the front! Thank you!
Literally sat with my immunodeficient wife in the er waiting room for 7 HOURS!! While her chest was pressurizing and sharp consistent pain going up her carotid artery. Not only is this type of wait absolutely ridiculous professionally, but it borders professional negligence and dereliction. Keep this up and your hospital is gonna be sued out of existence. Not only did we leave and go all the way up to St. Marys where she was diagnosed with a small blockage in her artery, but they had her in and admitted within an hour. Its also funny that most of your "5 star rating" are from people who used the facility for simple sleep studies, maybe you guys should start selling mattresses instead of caring for sick people who you obviously don't care about and see them as an inconvenience to your nursing staffs next "tik tok trend" videos
I have consistently faced issues with Jefferson's customer service over the phone, and this location is no exception. Today, my mother's regular family doctor was unavailable, so they assigned another doctor to treat her. Given that it was a different doctor, they expressed concerns about whether her Medicare HMO would cover the cost. Despite this, they proceeded with the treatment and handed her a piece of paper with only an NPI number. They are fully aware that my mother does not speak English, yet the communication was very unclear. She left without understanding what she was supposed to do with just an NPI number and no further explanation. Is she expected to call her insurance by herself to ensure the new doctor gets paid? Isn't this something that the billing department supposed to assist the patient? Upon returning home, she sought my assistance. I called on her behalf and waited for nearly half an hour to reach a representative named Tania, who was exceedingly rude and dismissive. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand HIPAA regulations and reassured her that my mother could provide consent over the phone. Despite this, Tania sighed loudly, sounded very annoyed, and then hung up on us. I understand that everyone has bad days, but no patient should endure such treatment due to a representative's unstable emotions. This experience did not feel like a visit to a medical office. Jefferson needs to be more careful when hiring customer service representatives, as they reflect the entire practice. Despite having the best doctors in town, I cannot recommend Jefferson based on this appalling customer service experience.
