A brief summary: I'm overweight and wanted to go on a weight loss drug. I used UBMD to do a surgery in 2024 and decided to stick with them in 2025 for this route. So I find my General Care Doctor, Rao, and get an appointment. Get all the basics done (blood work etc etc) and surprise surprise I'm in good health except ofcourse: overweight. So their Dietitian comes in and offers this sound advice: "Ever try drinking diet soda?". I read the reviews online but ultimately start doing a weight loss program. So now this is where I have my issues: they call me a month ago and tell me I have to book a yearly checkup or I'll be cancelled. Quite alright with me because I'm in good health and weren't impressed by the doctors but they still my insurance will insist that I get one. Fine: I schedule one. So I find out that I might have to be somewhere at 10 and it would cut it close to the appointment time of 10:30 so I request to change the appointment. Someone calls and leaves a voicemail and says "I cancelled the appointment" which I didn't know... and never asked for a cancellation. So ofcourse I show up today at 10:30 and the lady behind the counter is exceptionally rude. I tell her I didn't cancel the appointment. The words never came from my mouth. She talks down to me and after I play the voicemail she says "SEE CANCELLED" and I once again say: I didn't cancel it. She says it's impossible for the doctor to see me: which is just ridicilous as every doctor appointment I've ever had takes less than 5 minutes, no joke. So I told her don't bother I'll go elsewhere. I call their other location and they say the manager will have to agree for me to change primaries? It's it my choice on whom my Primary is? Not at UBMD: you get treated like dirt and apparently I should be thankful I get to breathe the same air as these people.

I have to only give one star unfortunately been going here 2 yrs and I have talked to very rudely my Dr he is a quiet person I believe he listens but definitely does not follow through on things sadly to say they never return calls as it says on triage. I been reaching begging for return calls @ they DNT even acknowledge. Their patient s which one somebody is chronically ill that's not good it's not healthy just add more problems to the person unfortunately prescriptions are very hard to get at times even though I call them in simple as a vitamin losing weight he didn't even give me a vitamin in over 3 or 4 months which I find it'd be ridiculous. Most of the staff are very rude and nasty as well they look at you like your brain dead when you're not!

I don't even normally write reviews but the service and harassment from this office has been so abysmal I felt implored. It would be a disservice to humanity not to forewarn other individuals. First the visit. Went In for just a basic meet and greet for my selection of my primary care physician, I do not have her name at present female physician at this office. She came in w/ another underling physician in training, she set and open laptop on the desk opposite of me getting undressed for examination... I digress...whilst waiting for initial basic preventative care initial visit they had me in waiting room filling out paperwork. Paperwork littered w/ mental health questions a literal litany of mental health questions and this is just a basic meet and great visit. Basic care not a psychiatrist mind you This one visit was covered 100% by my employer this office yet sends me a bill for $25. After repeatedly harassing me for bill I shouldn't have been billed they say it's taken care of.3 months go by again I get invoices for same bill $25! I specifically tell them do not EVER contact me again! I will never go back there! Again I'm assured taken care of Few weeks later a bill $25 I ended up sending them a check for $25 just to never hear from that place again! Even after paying guess what? Another bill $25 ubmed same office! Stay far far far away from this unscrupulous company doctors office.

My mom has been seeing Dr Daniel Morelli at UBMD Family Medicine for many years. I accompany to her to these visits because she is elderly. I have always found Dr Morelli to be a fantastic listener. He is thorough and answers all Mom's and my questions until he is certain we understand. To my recollection, there has never been a long wait while getting in to see the doctor. The waiting room is large and comfortable, but I've never seen more than a couple other people in there. I don't think we've ever waited longer than three minutes ourselves. Once we are taken back to the examination room, the wait is also very short. I was torn between a 4 and a 5, and there are no half stars on Yelp, so just know this is more of a 4.5. The only reason I take a portion away is because until very recently, it's been super difficult to get someone on the phone. We've always had to leave a message, but very recently, I've gotten someone every time I've called. I don't know if that's luck or if they've hired more people or changed some of their practices regarding incoming calls. Just know, you may have to leave a message and wait for a return call. My mom typically would have to drive over to their office to ask whatever question she has or to make an appointment. (Granted, she's 87 and is not only less patient than she used to be, she also struggles with the phone menu. Switching screens on her phone is a foreign idea to her, and she never really knows which number to press even if she somehow accidentally finds the keyboard screen.) Dr. Morelli's staff has also been extremely helpful to me when I've needed it, and shows they truly care about the patients.

The reviews that I have read cannot possibly be the whole truth; Three sides to every story! One and the other, and the truth! I have been under this office’s umbrella for over sixteen years. Any questions or requests, thru the portal, are answered within an hour, period! Phone calls do take more time, in all aspects of life, period! The staff are friendly, compassionate, and professional :) The residents (Our future care) are always accompanied by an MD! Preventative care is their top priority! The first question that they ask women: “Did you have your mammogram?” “Do you want a flu shot?” “When was your last tetanus shot?” “Have you had a Tdap shot?” For this vaccine protects yourself and infants (Whooping cough)! Annual bloodwork screening (Physical) is always recommended, and given a script to be completed! This review is for all new patients seeking excellent care!
