Absolutely love Sarah! The receptionists need to reevaluate training and their decency to patients. I was abruptly rushed and treated terribly just now.
I did not have my Ozempic for over a month because my pharmacy could not get it in stock so they sent it to another pharmacy. They told UB family medicine a nurse that they should not give me my normal dose of 2 mg that they should put me on a lower dose because I have not been on it in over a month and that hired those would wreak havoc on my system and make me sick While when I got to CVS I went and picked up my medicine. It was 3. 8mg packages which each shot is 2 mg and I asked if there was any type of notice or whatever if I should do anything different they said no it says take as prescribed. I said OK I came home once I was home, I took my shot because I have not had it in over a month. All the sudden I got severely ill to where I was soaking wet Throwing up nauseous and. Shaking So I called the office and told them what had happened and ask them After I talk to my pharmacist that I didn’t know, told them not to give me that that why did you not listen to my pharmacist she told you not to give me that dose that I was without it for so long And I also talk to the pharmacist at CVS and told them what happened Could happen as well to make sure they were full because I switched pharmacies with this mad because my other one couldn’t get it in so now I’m talking new pharmacist and asking her the same question to see if both the pharmacist stories would add up and all they did the new pharmacist side even more she said that I was lucky. I wasn’t rushed to the hospital when my sugar was as high as it was for an insulin shot that it could’ve dropped me like a fly from not having it that long and then all of a sudden having my insulin shoot up that high that I will feel like this from the time I took the shot until a day or two after my next shot is due, they had an script for a .5 mg Ozempic in their system for me. I asked if they could fill it so when I get better from this one, I can start back on the lower dose because I’m sure not taking another 2 mg dose. I’m not jeopardizing feeling my self like I am now she said the stuff they sent over for my nauseousness so help a little bit is not. A cure all type of thing what this morning I took some stuff to help me go back to sleep so I can sleep through this and I ended up throwing all of it up in the garbage. My doctors office called me this morning inside that the doctor recommended that I drop down to a lower dose for a month and after that go up to 1 mg and then go up to the normal dose. She tried rushing me off the phone like I was nothing and I said no wait you’re gonna listen to me for a second. You guys did not do your due diligence for me as a patient when you should’ve looked at my chart, looked at the Ozempic and seen the last date. It was filled. You have all of this at your hands. The Pharmacy told me this. I did not know this until yesterday when I picked up my nauseousness stuff You guys knew I didn’t take it for that long, but you chose not to look at the computer to check and buy that by skipping that and not doing your job correctly, you jeopardized my life, my well-being, my health, and how I feel which I don’t think is right And I want some rep precautions because of this and she was like what and I said you heard what I said now I know you should’ve looked at a computer and saw when I last took it. You had it right in front of you all the information you had You chose not to do your job the correct way look at my chart. Look at the prescription all you guys someone did I’m not blaming. You personally is said oh she needs to refill the 2 mg here we go that said sign in the script. You didn’t look to see that it was not filled my pharmacist. Talk to somebody and told on this It’s not recorded I said of course no one recorded it. Why would they? They didn’t listen. I said I want the name of the nurse who is signed into the computer because I know this you have to sign in to access participations account. I want the name of the nurse did sign into my account And sent over the refill for this medication who did not look at computer
I just looked up reviews to try and find my doctor's name to switch primary care providers. I'm shocked by all the negative reviews. I've been a couple times and have had to call a couple times and everyone from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors were amazing. I've had a very pleasant experience each time and feel my concerns were handled with care. My only complaint is my doctors name was hard to spell but he's a peach and I highly recommend Dr.Baumgartner! Try them out yourself if you're on the fence. 100/5 stars from me!
I do not know why none of them called me back to let me know my doc is busy after leaving voice messages twice. Upon visiting them in the office, they said, doc is busy that they could not reach out to him. How can I know without them letting me know? It’s not eligible excuse. My doc seems to be a nice guy, I will let him know in my next visit.
This team has provided my family great health care for almost two decades. They respond to concerns and follow up on those pesky prevention and screening tests we tend to forget to get done, including annual physicals. The office staff has had some turn over however the doctors are consistent at providing great care. It is hard to find a good doctor. You will find one here.
