This store is never quick, responsive, or actively trying to help. They are quick to let you know that they cannot help you unless you bought from them originally. If you are hoping for helpful you will be out of luck here. If you are visiting it would be best if you stick to your normal provider unless you don’t want to bill insurance for your medical expenses.
“I had a wonderful experience at the Mayo Clinic Store. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about sleep apnea equipment. They took their time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable with my purchase. Excellent customer service and high-quality products — highly recommended!”
We were at Mayo for a completely unrelated reason, but I was very excited to see that they have a sleep apnea store. I stopped in and Shania was super helpful. I bought a hose cleaner which I didn’t know even existed. I also got to see some other models of masks that will work with my Resmed . She recommended that I buy them locally and provided me a list of local sleep vendors. Stop by; it’s Disneyland for Cpap users!
Nicholas is great he helped me get all the supplies that I needed for my machine and made sure everything fit and worked perfectly.
My husband had a very negative experience here. The machine we purchased went out on us after a couple of years of use. We are now with a new insurance provider. Our insurance agent told us he was able to purchase a machine through our insurance since he has a lifetime prescription. The sales person told my husband he would need to rent a machine for $60 a month then changed it to $160. He said it would take 6 months to get him a new machine. We went elsewhere. This is our first bad experience at Mayo Clinic in 29 years.
