NP Brielle and NNP Tom are truly the best things that have happened to this office. They take their time, listen, and never make you feel rushed. I always feel heard and cared for when I see them. Unfortunately, the front desk is the complete opposite. They are consistently rude, short, and unhelpful. Even asking where the bathroom was felt like an inconvenience to them — I was made to feel like I was bothering someone just for asking a simple question. This has happened multiple times over the past month. My kids have been extremely sick, yet there are never same-day appointments. If you don’t call right at 8 AM, you’re out of luck, and they simply tell you to take your baby to urgent care instead of trying to help. When I asked to speak with an office manager, I was told no one was available and that no one was in charge that day. The providers are wonderful, but the front desk issues and lack of support make the overall experience extremely frustrating. Don’t waste your time.

I don't normally do reviews but in this case it's deserved. I saw Brielle Gomez at the stryker road office. She was amazing. She was professional but compassionate. She not only explained what she was going to do but also explained her logic for doing it. Which put me at ease. If you have an appointment with this amazing young lady, fear not you are in the best of hands. Big thanks to everyone at stryker road. You are amazing.

Don’t bother using the portal for appointment requests or medication refill requests. The staff is rude and couldn’t care less if you’ve been contacting them for 4 or more days requesting a medication refill. The front desk staff will see you walk in and completely ignore you as they converse and do whatever it is they’re doing that isn’t always work related. They have zero respect for anyone’s time or situation. The best part is that they say “walk-in” but it’s a load of crap because if you walk in and say you started feeling ill late the night before it’s no longer within the special restrictions they have in place. You can only walk in if you started feeling ill that very day, even if it wasn’t 24hrs since you started to feel any symptoms. They absolutely DO NOT CARE!!

I won’t give a bad rating for just one person. This is my first time at this Phillipsburg location and staff is always A+ at ANY Hunterdon facility. This Jessica at the front desk was not very pleasant at all. I was NOT the patient and she told me I had to wait outside. I was well aware that my daughter had to wait outside but I had to go in to check her in because I didn’t have the number. I explained that. Her telling me to wait outside was not the issue, but the way she said it was very rude and dismissive. Then after I received my receipt I was speaking to the staff next to her and she just closed the window in my face while still speaking. I have never had treatment like that at any facility. I was going to put her in her place on the spot but I didn’t want to case a scene. Jessica, I am not sure if you are new but you need to learn manners and how to deal with the public. You do not represent the wonderful staff at Hunterdon Family Medicine. All other staff for the visit was A+ per usual.

I visited the Phillipsburg location. The physician was very nice, but the turn around for test results are way to long for someone like me who worries a lot, on the third day after my visit I called the office to see if my results were in and they are in fact in but they won’t tell me anything because the doctor hasn’t reviewed them yet. I also just called again on day 4 and was told the same thing that she hasn’t reviewed my results and they will send her a message. Please adjust turn around time for discussion of test results. Update, I called 3 times yesterday and they kept answering the phone and placing me on hold while Never returning to the phone. I end up hanging up and still haven’t heard back from them.
