If you want to deal with a place where most phone numbers are no longer in service, or are chronically busy, or don't answer, and the patient portal is a bunch of bots, and no one returns your messages, this is your place.
I don't recommend this doctor, every time my son had a visit i literally had to give them a summary about my son because every single visit there is a new doctor not for me!!! Won't be returning
Beyond frustrating experience making appointments, doctors not being receptive to our needs, asking to go in person for something that can be done via telehealth just so they can bill the insurance more money. It should not be so difficult to get a referal to a gastroenterologist but instead I was given a video appointment after being on hold for 30 minutes then days later was called to be told that a referal cannot be given via video appointment, had to speak to a nurse so that she can tell the doctor pretty much nothing and then ti he told I have to come in person at a completely different time than we had planned. I know that they’re used to seeing people with Medicaid and assume these people don’t work so they can just come anytime. Well, we are not Medicaid recipients and they have zero respect for our time so I will not be returning to this practice.
Friendly and efficient doctors and staff! Great rapport with my 4 year old daughter.
My son was in Cornell's PICU transferred from Lower Manhattan because of a bad asthma attack. The nurses and doctors were overall great. Except for this one overnight nurse KATE. We arrived around midnight and my 4 year old was on a CPAP machine which had him a bit agitated and I felt she could have been a bit more patient with us both. We were all tired so I didn't bother. When his machine went off around 4am stating that his chest stickers had been repositioned while we were asleep no one was at the desk. Another nurse rushed in about 4 mins later to fix whatever was wrong, chewing stating that she was on break and had no idea where my nurse was. I'm glad it was nothing serious!! Fast forward to our last night there 4/18 with the same nurse KATE. My son was taken off of the continuous albuterol and CPAP so he was finally able to get actual food. I ordered him his favorite Hot wings from Domino's. We were just getting started when my son needed to use the bathroom. He was given a urine pitcher like container so instead of me going through the electric doors to the visitors restroom to wash my hands I just went across the hall to the patient's restroom which made my trip all of 30 seconds. Walking back into the room Kate told my 4 year old "sit down, your mother is coming right back" and smeared her face saying "eww and wipe your face"!! her tone was very disgusting! the nurse that sat next to her was laughing hysterically. It really hurt my son's feeling who's 80 lbs and was just called names in school the week before. He didn't want anymore wings and just wanted to lay down in silence. I reported her to Kimberley another nurse who connected me with the nursing manager. She's in a well respected field in an even more respected hospital. My feelings were beyond hurt and I thought about the other children there who's parents weren't able to get out of work to sit with them like I was able to do with my son. Kate shouldn't be able to work with children if she's going to be mean to them while they need her.
