the audiology team and the nurses at this hospital have been very helpful and professional. They always treated me with respect and took the time to assist me. However, my experience with Dr. Manuela Fina was very disappointing. I had surgeries on both ears and during every follow up visit my symptoms continued to get worse. I had ongoing pain, inflammation and drainage, but at every visit she told me my ears were in good condition . She never explained how to improve my symptoms or what steps I could take to feel better. because of her approach and lack of attention to my concerns, I decided not to continue my care with her. I appreciate the audiology and nursing staff, but based on my experience, I would not recommend seeing Dr. Manuela.
Doctors are usually pretty good here. Staff is generally kind. I've sat on hold for over 30 minutes several times trying to get a hold of some one at front desk in Endocrinology. Lately having issues getting a response from my doctor to get my medications, which is a life threatening issue for me!
I wasted a lot of time with their hand doctors and hand therapists. Had a nightmare of a time getting appointments and forms and paperwork for disability insurance on top of not recovering at all despite seeing nearly every specialist there and nearly 8 months of OT. (For tendonitis and nerve symptoms in hands and wrists) If you're seeing this review this is your sign to seek care elsewhere, especially if you have complex symptoms. After just one visit with TCO's hand therapy and they've already corrected my form, given me more detailed and focused care, and I think I actually have a chance at recovering now.
Front desk staff is awesome. Nurses are awesome. (Loved Paris! Fellow Aquarius!!) That’s about where it ends. I was asked multiple times if I thought I was at McDonalds while asking very valid questions about my care. I was also told that I came to a specialist because it’s their specialty, and I shouldn’t question anything. Then she went on and on about care I needed, that I wasn’t there for and had no intention of getting. When asked why we weren’t able to discuss what I had come in to discuss, she again referenced the office not being a McDonalds. I left. I won’t be going back. Too bad, again the front desk and nurses were just amazing, but if I am not able to be an active participant in my health, then I won’t be paying you to assist me with it. BOOOOOOOOO!
The staff is very friendly, and I've never had an issue with the doctors. But HealthPartners price gouging is ridiculous. They charged me $170 to look over my blood glucose readings (took my doctor less than 5 minutes to read them) that they requested from me, and I had to send them. I called the billing department and was told that there was nothing they could do as I received a service. I didn't know reading a chart was worth $170, but I'm extremely disappointed in HealthPartners.
