I had a nurse throw things across the room (which promptly splattered all over me and dirtied my gown). That same nurse intentionally tortured me for many hours straight (i am not going to go into detail how on here because no one needs to hear these details). And repeatedly lie to me and my doctor. I had another two nurses throw me into a medicaid cab basically unconscious without my prescribed mobility aid. And the doctor made up the reason as to why I was there. Even the radiological techs were alarmed when they started imaging and saw what they saw and asked me, "Did you have a ____?" And one promptly rushed out the room. The indication made no sense and it was as if the doctor had no idea who I was and why I was there. I got yelled at, for ringing the bell, 3 and a half hours after I had first rang it for my medication. They do not know the simplest thing about caring for a patient especially spinal injuries or post op care. They do not even know how to log roll a patient! They left me yelling and crying for help because i was stuff on my right side and could not move myself. And then they leave high fall risk patients with CT techs for them to attempt to transfer themselves?! Not to mention they give you absolutely no information on discharge plans and restrictions, no information on the recovery process, no information on the when you should go to the ER (apparently a surgeon's "scope of practice is checking on the incision" so you should never call them). They withheld my heart meds and left me in chest pain for hours. They basically gave me almost none of my regular, maintenance medications ive taken for several years (some of which are dangerous to suddenly stop, especially the heart ones). Oh, and they don't inform you if you the surgeon is not board certified in speciality they are about to perform surgery on you in. And there is so much more. You know what's worse than surgery? When they intentionally pump you up with laxatives when you have a history of pelvic floor dyssynergia and laxatives causing extreme pain because your schincters dont work. While simultaneously, your bladder is overstretched because you have not had a single drop of urine exit you for over 24 hours. Instead of cathing, the nurse kept lying and saying "GI consult GI consult" while smiling when there was never none (this nurse lied like this in many ways). While i begged for help for hours. The next nurse who came onto the shift immediately listened and called a physician who said to cath me and do a fleet enema to get the stool out of me. No exaggeration, her and the other nurse literally stood there for over 20 minutes waiting for the urine to cease flowing. Literally said, "Oh you poor baby you must have been in so much pain" and said that thats like, a liter of urine (that's bit a more than the human bladder can hold. So basically, i was on the verge of my bladder rupturing at that point). I am not even going to continue from thrre nor do i want to recall other certain things that occcured. And some particular people made me feel extremely unsafe but i did not say anything out of fear/trauma response. Anyone else who has been there that i know of have similar complaints. I am beginning to question as I type this whether their nurses have valid licenses or not, because some of them definitely did not even take fundamentals.

The reason I don’t give this one stars is because of the amazing doctor that I saw when I actually was admitted after waiting eight hours in the waiting room to be seen for a brain injury which ended up being a concussion but let’s say that I was bleeding. They would’ve just let me bleed out. After seeing a man next to me with a gashing wound to his head, waiting there for 5+ hours They have their priorities wrong there. There was three other patients that had left because they were waiting there for longer than me. You guys need to do better with the wait times dr. Basil Joseph was amazing. He ran all the proper procedures gave me medication when I said I was in pain and ruled out anything serious but just the fact that I had a head injury and had to wait for eight hours in the waiting room shows that you guys need to do better.

I had my surgery yesterday at St Joseph. Great experience. The operating room staff was amazing. The medical staff Flore and Rachel were very nice; but there was one nurse assistant was very rude; first; she came to take notes of all my belongings; from that moment I felt her attitude; She told me that my husband couldn’t get off and take me to the bathroom. But besides that everything was great.

Worst experience. Showed up at 1030pm and left at 4am. Had to ask for help in er as I was forgetting in a hallway leading to er. Dr Miu and Dr. Elkhawaga had me do X-rays after i explained that I didn't have an impact injury. Wife had to go ask for help numerous times and scripts aren't covered by my insurance. I was told 3 scripts bring sent to CVS, only one arrived and not covered. When being released, I asked what was wrong and they didn't know. Told me to take scripts and follow up with a Dr. I was there to see a Dr. No prognosis. Worst waste of time and money. Don't go here

I went this morning at 8:30 AM because I was not feeling good doctor. Andrew dream was absolutely phenomenal He got my blood work done, chest x-ray, and all my stuff ready to go outside the door within three hours. The service was outstanding highly recommend this hospital. The triage nurses were also very sweet and the regular nurses that come to your bed. Highly recommend this place Whatever request you ask for they try their best to help you
