This was the most amazing experience i had with having my newborn at Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Bellin was amazing and provided me with all the information and resources i need for a safe and healthy delivery. The maternity floor was AMAZING i thank all the staff that made my time there feel safe. Thank you so much to Jessica, Megan, Alexandria, Victoria and many more that i can’t remember but extremely grateful for all the help and support you guys gave me and my baby 🙏🏻.
As a doctor, I’ve been in the waiting room for over three hours now, and it’s been quite the experience. I appreciate the effort it takes to manage patient care, but I genuinely believe that timely interventions are crucial—especially for those experiencing neck pain after a motor vehicle accident. I just received a C-collar, which is a relief, but it could have made a real difference if it had happened sooner! I've noticed that housekeeping hasn't been able to maintain the waiting area, and given the number of patients here, regular cleaning would significantly improve the environment. It would be fantastic to see more frequent attention to cleanliness, ideally at least once an hour, to help reduce the risk of contagious illnesses in such a high-traffic area. I do see the staff trying their best and appreciate the dedication they show, but I think there's a real opportunity to enhance patient experience with some improvements. It’s all about creating a caring and safe space for everyone involved, and I’m hopeful that these suggestions can lead to positive changes. Housekeeping on cell phone, still has not cleaned the floor or the chairs are or anything but the glass outside the waiting room. Its sad in 2025 to see such a disregard for community health. Well im n hour four. Nothing clean and still in waiting area. Hes standing on seats to clean the high spots on he windows. Garbage still on the floor.... housekeeping just left ,they didn't sweep or clean the floor or seats, not even the seat he stood on. All he cleaned were the in and our doors abd and stainless steel
Just gave birth for the second time at Mercy Hospital and the experience was wonderful. I had a planned c-section and the team got me ready and kept me calm. The Labor and Delivery team was professional and very caring. My daughter ended up in the NiCU and the nursing care there was amazing. The mother baby unit for my aftercare also was amazing. One nurse was better than the next so compassionate and willing to help. Overall, a pleasant experience!
Stayed overnight because I had a surgery planned for the next day. The staff and nurses were very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and quiet. The surgery went well and I honestly didn’t have a bad experience at all. The only issues I had were the nurses coming to check my vitals every so often. They woke me up at 4am to check them, and then again at around 6am. It was super repetitive but I understand why they do it. It just was hard for me to get good sleep because of that. And they have a TV in the room but it costs $11 a day to use which is crazy. Otherwise my time here was good, they took great care of me and I’m happy with the outcome of my surgery
Most of the staff are amazing. The nurses of the maturity ward are great, they address needs and concerns. You don't wait all day or night when call them. Nurse Chase won't allow you go without nutrition or information, she's amazing. Most of the PCA are phenomenal, they care, no attitude, always willing to assist. There were a couple that a bit obnoxious while twilight hours. I have a service dog and the staff helped me with her care. We are both very grateful to Mercy hospital staff. My experience wasn't the best for other reasons that's why I gave 4 of 5 stars, excellent staff they deserve recognition for being awesome workers
