I would have given a 5 star but the receptionist person in the radiology department had her cell phone in her hand and totally ignored me for 2-3 minutes while she finished reading or doing whatever was on her phone. The registration person at the front was very cordial and professional. A+ all the way. The mammogram tech was awesome. She was professional , kind and very in-tune to the sensitive nature of the type of appointment which immediately put me at ease. A+!
I went for lab work today. I always dread going because I hate needles. Today was a good day. Taylor Tipton was my phlebotomist. She was great! Professional, friendly and I barely felt a thing. I won't mind going next time.
I initially went to BRRH Emergency Dept for a persistent nosebleed. While they were able to finally stop the bleeding they suggested I stay overnight for observation and in case it started bleeding again. My whole experience, from the ER to my overnight stay was excellent. The staff and doctors were courteous and efficient. The facilities were clean and comfortable and even the food was actually very good. I have nothing but good things to say about my brief stay at BRRH.
I had a Colonoscpy Monday 10/20/2025. The level of care from the surgery department was absolutely fantastic, If I could give this staff and Dr B also the anesthesiologist 100 stars I would do so.In all my many years of Colonoscpy's ,this group is the best!!!! Nurse Mallory called the next day (Tuesday to find out how I was feeling) Wow!!! , that was extremely great. In my opinion This hospital is the best (Blue Ridge Hospital in Spruce Pine , NC. Thank you for your wonderful service.
I ended up at the Emergency Room of the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital at Spruce Pine, NC, Sunday August 24, 2025. In short, I was seen immediately and had nothing but a pleasant experience. The nurses and physician on staff were all extremely knowledgeable. I had a foot problem that had turned into an emergency, and I was planning to visit Mission's Urgent Care. However, their UC is closed Sundays. I simply drove on over to the ER. I can highly recommend the ER at the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine with no hesitation. The check-in was smooth and trouble-free. The nursing staff and doctor on duty answered all my questions and knew exactly what to do for my injury. They all worked together flawlessly. I do not know their names, but I do wish to thank them all for their prompt and caring care. This area is so blessed to have this qualified staff in our local area. They have all the latest equipment and highly competent and efficient staff with none of the crowding issues associated with larger cities. We hope not to visit the ER for obvious reasons but they are there if and as we need them, and we the local community, are extraordinarily fortunate to have this resource literally right on our doorstep.
