I was seen under vitals medicine. Date: 09 August 2023. My insurance is Tricare. I suffer everyday due to PTSD! I could not communicate with emergency medicine. Please bill and address this issue. Thank you! God Bless You! Kimberly Quick
After having a bad experience at the Parkview em downtown, my husband brought me in for worsening abdominal pain and the only things they did was draw blood, do a pelvic ultrasound and then the doc came in and did a exam of her own with the speculum. I was very frustrated because they kept telling me that there wasn't anything they could do to help me because they didn't see anything. They just deemed it as a miscarriage and told me that if I was still in a lot of pain to come back to them and they would help me. Well isn't that why I came there in the first place? She told my husband and I that the doctor had an ob on call and the radiologist view my ultrasound pictures and the only thing they saw was a mass on my left side. We left the hospital more confused and still in pain. Only to go to a different hospital later that day who found that I was going thru an ectopic pregnancy and my fallopian tube ruptured and there was quite a bit of blood in my abdomen. I honestly will not be going back to either hospitals because of the experience I had from the doctor and the nurses on call that day. No sympathy for what was going on just quick to diagnose and send on my way.
so went in with a messed up wrist wasted almost 2 hrs of my morning will not be going back the doctor there this morning is useless less than useless
I have been to ER's my entire life due to my severe ear infections. This was not a visit for my ear but for an accident that happened while kayaking. Tried to xray my knee which was not the issue. It was a hematoma on the side of my leg, so why are we trying to Xray my knee? I told them i refuse the xray as its not where the impact happened. She tells me if you want to xray where it happened we will have to give you a pregnancy test as well. Well there's another $300 when I know for a fact i'm not pregnant. So no xray was completed. Doctor comes in, she stands roughly 10 feet away from me and says "that's the biggest hematoma i've ever seen. R.I.C.E. and Tylenol. 2 weeks later i go to the Urgent Care because i'm having a hard time doing daily things. The NP there asked me why I waited so long to come get it drained. Well i've never had a hematoma that large, i feel like after spending $1700 to be seen for 10 minutes and wasn't told I could try to get it drained 24-48 hours later was a waste of my time and money. I will never come back to Parkview, I'll risk driving all the way to the springs or go to St. Mary before i EVER step foot in a Parkview Medical Center ever again.. They treat people like garbage here. Be warned.
I was just treated terribly this evening by the hospital in Pueblo West. I aspirated on my vomit while sleeping and woke up really sick. I couldn't breathe and got scared so I went to the emergency room. They gave me a few breathing treatments and an IV. I couldn't have been there an hour. The doctor never returned. They came with discharge papers. I asked to speak to the doctor about my lungs. They had security escort me out. It was very embarrassing. It seemed very out of place. I've been treated well there before but tonight was different. Already called the patient advocate. Considering contacting a lawyer. Just doesn't make sense to treat people so poorly. The people of Pueblo/Pueblo West deserve decency and respect. I
