Sturdy Memorial Hospital Sleep Disorder Center

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this emergency room. My son was crying in severe distress, and we waited for two full hours without being given a room. Despite the urgency of the situation, staff repeatedly told us there was no room available. After all that waiting, they finally called us, but the process felt anything but urgent. An emergency room should provide fast, immediate care for patients in need, not leave families waiting while their child suffers. This experience was unacceptable and does not reflect the meaning of true emergency care. Very sad!

Recently visited the Sturdy Memorial Hospital Emergency Department with a family member. Upon arrival I was happy to see there is now a valet service. When we were done and about to leave I followed the procedure to request my car by text as they directed. I could see my car parked right near the valley stand but I needed the keys, obviously, and there was no valet anywhere in sight. Five to seven minutes later and still no valet at the stand so I re-entered the hospital and inquired at the security desk about the missing valet. They assured me that he was likely just parking a car. Fifteen minutes after requesting my car to take my 87 year old patient home, still no valet in sight. So we decided to check his key box. Finding it unlocked, we then found my keys in an upper drawer and got into the car. As we were leaving, the valet finally showed up and said he had just stepped away for a moment to visit the bathroom. 1) Sturdy: I don't know if this is you guys or an outside service, but either way you should make sure my keys are not left in an unlocked and unattended key box. 2) Valet Service: There needs to always be two people on duty, never one alone. I will never use this valet service again.

I came to this hospital with sepsis, and Chenell Newton, CNA, treated me like her own child. She truly nursed me back to life. I will never forget the way Sturdy Memorial took care of me at my lowest point. This woman deserves to be promoted. She was at my bedside for every request, always going above and beyond. The best nurse I have ever experienced!

Our mother received excellent comfort care by Dani, Ashley Kelly, Kim and Ryleigh on Montplasier - where she previously worked years before becoming a patient. The four of them, along with Dr. Ahktar, made an impossibly difficult time bearable. We will forever be grateful for the excellent care they provided our mother.

Unfortunately, I have had surgeries all over metro west but Sturdy blew me away. The people are beyond helpful, from those who find you wandering lost in the halls to the nurses and doctors. And the support staff is especially amazing. The facilities are top notch and everything was modern and pristine, but the people are the shining star. They spent whatever time was needed, they listened and provided some much needed comfort. Hospitals are all the same, but it's the staff that makes the difference and that's what makes Sturdy so wonderful.
