Primary Children's Hospital Sleep Center

My 5 month old son came down with HFM and has had a high fever for 3 days. We had taken him to his pediatrician already but last night he was screaming in pain and nothing would sooth him. We arrive at 12:00am and got checked in we waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes to get sent to a room. Once we got sent to a room we waited for 2 hours and no nurse or doctor came to check up on him. I understand my son was not the only child there but when a 5 month old has had a fever for multiple days and can’t sleep or eat making him wait over 2 hours is ridiculous. It was 2:30am when I went to ask how much longer because my son was in pain or if they could at least give him Tylenol. One of the nurses let me know it was gonna take a few more minutes. I waited for 15 more minutes when I heard the nurses laughing outside! I was so frustrated I ended up leaving. NOT ONE nurse noticed I was walking out since they were all chitchatting. This is absolutely any mom‘s worst nightmare, seeing your child cry in your arms not being able to do anything about it for 2 hours and going to a hospital asking for help and getting nothing! We ended up going to a different hospital to which they let us know that he had mouth sores all over his throat and that was the reason why he was in a lot of pain. I really hope no one else has this experience it is truly awful.

I had an excellent experience with the Same Day Surgery department. When my son’s surgery was suddenly denied by insurance the day before, the staff worked tirelessly to help us navigate the issue. They coordinated with insurance, advocated for us, and made sure everything was resolved in time. Thanks to their efficiency and compassion, my son was able to have his surgery as scheduled. We truly appreciate the outstanding care and support we received. Can’t recommend this place enough🤩

We had to take my almost 2 year old in to the ER here Thanksgiving weekend. We were seen almost immediately. Even though her symptoms stopped presenting on the way in (typical toddler), the doctor took us seriously. Xrays were ordered promptly and she was diagnosed with a broken arm. The orthopedist was on call, but arrived quickly. Everyone was efficient, friendly and professional. We were super impressed and are so glad to have a children's hospital so close to home.

I’ve had several appointments here, and each experience has been excellent. I received helpful reminder calls beforehand, and the staff made sure I knew exactly which entrance to use, along with clear directions to the clinic once inside. The facility is very clean, with plenty of friendly staff around to answer questions or offer assistance. The waiting areas are family-friendly, with coloring stations to keep kids entertained. There’s also great signage both in the parking lot and throughout the building, which makes navigating the hospital much easier. For those who may be there a while, the bistro on the main floor is a convenient spot to grab a quick snack or meal.

We had a wonderful experience at Primary Children’s in Lehi. Every staff member we interacted with showed excellent bedside manner and was fantastic with kids. Their calm and professional demeanor made a big difference for us, especially as our 6-year-old was going in for surgery. A special thank you to Dr. Padia, who was outstanding. She was incredibly professional, and it was clear she understood that, as parents, we’re bound to be a little anxious and emotional. She took the time to answer our questions with empathy and made us feel heard and supported throughout the process. The campus itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean, something that added to the overall sense of comfort and care. We're grateful for the quality of care our child received here.
