Sleep Disorder Center of Louisiana

I do NOT recommend the Sleep Disorder Center in Lake Charles. They had my husband sign a rental agreement form stating that he was to make 10 payments of $87.50 per month. He decided to pay it up front and paid a total of $875 before taking the machine home. He was told that in order for insurance to reimburse him, he had to be compliant and use it 4+ hours with 21 days. He asked for an adjustment to be made regarding the pressure and they did the opposite of what he asked. He then stopped using the machine. He was unable to make his follow up appointment and canceled. They called to reschedule and he turned it down. MONTHS later we received a bill from the sleep disorder center stating we owed over $800. Majority of the time they don’t answer the phone and seldom do they call you back. He finally got in touch with them and they said the bill would be fixed. THEN we get another bill stating we still owe almost $500. It took all afternoon for me to get an answer regarding our bill and billing stating our amount was incorrect and that our bill was fixed to $150. After reaching out to our insurance company, I found out that they filed MULTIPLE claims, one of those claims being a monthly claim of $136 for SEVEN consecutive months. I accused them of playing games because it so hard to get in touch with them and once you get someone’s name, they continued to tell me they were in a meeting until closing. They twisted the words on the rental agreement form and threatened to increase our bill if I continued to persist. I will NEVER recommend the Sleep Disorder Center.

Everyone was at so pleasant from the office staff to the Doctor. They handled my situation with such grace and speedy responses.I will stand ten toes for this establishment.

This place has a location in Lafayette, which is the one I went to. Don’t expect to get answers quickly here. I finally sought help for my insomnia which had gotten incredibly worse. I had my appointment and was told I’d be mailed this “oxygen monitor” once my insurance approved it. It took almost a month from my appt to get it. I paid $275 for this little thing you have to charge for 3+ hours, watch an instructional video, download an app, then sleep with it on your finger. You mail it back, then wait some more. At this point, I’m too exhausted to do all this. I’m disappointed and over it. Side note, I never even saw the doctor. One of the staff members just jotted down my issues and gave me some printed stuff on sleeping better (which you can get from a Google search). Like seriously?

Highly upset that after 2 months of me trying to have machine turned down no one called to set appointment or bothered to adjust it. I'm not sleeping good, had my daughter write it, but highly disappointed and tired. I had a tumor removed from my nasal cavity and my sinuses surgically fixed, my machine needs to be fixed, maybe review will get something done because I've tried, thanks so much Cecilia c

Dr. Conner was very friendly and easy to talk with. He took the time to listen to everything I had to say. Dr. Conner is very knowledgeable about his craft. I definitely recommend the Sleep Disorder Center of Louisiana!
