Parking lot is a little small, but not congested at all. Everyone is pleasant here (front desk, assistants and PA) and wait time is minimal. It’s pretty chill here so makes the commute worth it. The only thing is the location next to a gas station is not ideal at all. Upon entering the office and waiting area, the smell of gas was definitely there. I could smell gas in the room as well. It’s likely recirculating within their AC system. Maybe some air purifiers could help or having their AC system updated. The smell of gas at a health facility seems unhealthy.

Dr. Simon Hill is wonderful! Been going to him every 6 months. Good communicator, warm and friendly. Wait times are minimal. Overall great experience with him and Maui medical group. Thank you Dr Hill!

Chere, the receptionist, is an absolute angel. I’ve been in to this location twice now and have had an amazing experience with her both times. She has such a kind way about her, and is extremely helpful and knows everything about the office. I’ve witnessed her handle a few more “difficult” patients at check-in with absolute grace and firm but kind answers to their challenging behaviors. I’ve seen both Dr. Harrington and Dr. Hill now, and the doctors, nurses, and staff I’ve interacted with at both appointments were absolutely amazing. Great bedside manner, good senses of humor, and just overall welcoming and knowledgeable vibes. The practice is lucky to have their staff! :)

the two times I've checked in here have been an absolute nightmare. The receptionists lack empathy and professionalism. The first time, my ID and insurance card were lost for about an hour at the front desk. Subsequently, the office lost the samples they took from my body at the first appointment. Because of the loss of samples I was called to go back for another visit. Upon checking in, I was initially told I could not be seen, since this isn't my primary care, and made to fill out the same forms I just filled out one week ago before my surgery... even though it was their error that required my physical presence. I left crying and don't care if my test results say I have raging ovarian cancer- I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS OFFICE FOR A THING. I suggest you don't either.

Very poor customer service. I have been receiving care at Kihei clinic for about a year & a half. I love my provider Maxi West but I'm done making excuses for the receptionist. She's rude & lacks professionalism. If you have a poor attitude you shouldn't be working the front desk. You set the tone for the entire office visit. Today after an hour of trying to make an appointment over the phone unsuccessfully because there was no answer, I drove to the office to make an appointment in person. I mentioned that I wasn't able to get thru thinking maybe they weren't aware of the issue & was told "we're very short staffed and if you hang up and try again you start all over". I told her I had stayed on the line with it ringing for over 10 minutes before hanging up & trying again. She again said "we're very short staffed". No smile, no eye contact, just cold & unfriendly. If she would have smiled it could have made a huge difference. I left, went to Kihei Walk-In Clinic and was treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. By the way Kihei Maui Medical Group, since I can't get thru via phone & won't be coming back, you can cancel my appointment for next Monday. I already received the care that I needed.
