As with everything at Mayo, they truly believe in providing the best quality experience to their patients with the best employees providing it. Once again, they did not disappoint. The sleep center is warm and welcoming, the rooms are like hotel rooms not Hospital rooms. In the morning you are offered a continental breakfast as well.

I have had a few sleep studies done at other facilities from Tampa and Central Florida. The experience I had here was far superior. They truly cater towards your complete comfort. This was the smoothest and most comfortable I ever felt through one of these studies. Night and Day difference. The doctors really understand and have knowledge in finding unique medical conditions. Truly Thank you for everything.

I've been to Mayo for a few different things over the years. This was a great experience. The staff were fantastic and the accommodations well above par compared to other health systems. I was able to get an appointment much earlier than my local Healthcare network. Dr. Colaco is very helpful and takes the time to explain everything in detail as well as patiently listen to questions. I was pleased with the entire experience. The rooms were similar to a very nice hotel room. There is a walk in shower that is handicap accessible with a generous amount of space. They even have flat screen tv's with hundreds of movie options available. The wifi is super fast for any work or video chatting with family before bedtime. Bonus points for the snack bar and quick breakfast options in the morning.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I spent two nights in sleep lab to learn the already diagnosed sleep apnea I have had for decades is still here. Charges were expensive and subsequent billing sought payment from me personally after my insurance company had already paid. If I had not contested I would have been out thousands. A post sleep lab Zoom call with a doctor was brief and cursory. I was referred to a medical device company outside of Mayo for a CPAP and never heard from Mayo sleep experts again.

As someone else said, except for the non-invasive leads glued to you,, it's like the best sleep you ever had in a 5-star hotel. The facility is new and exceeding pleasant. There is a complimentary snack/beverage area with many offerings. The room has the perfect temperature and light control for restful sleep. (OK, the technicians do have to come in once or twice but, even then, you can get back to sleep.) Quiet. Awesome bed. You can shower, wash your hair, and get dressed before you leave.
