A very positive experience. The group seems very helpful in making sure I'll get the best sleep medicine support they can offer.
This was my 3 sleep study and by far the BEST!! I had the BEST tech that made all the difference in the world! My tech was Evette, also known as Sunshine. She definitely lived up to her name. She was patient, kind, and so compassionate. With my anxiety, she is exactly what I needed. She made me feel calm and relaxed. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those with anxiety.
The staff and doctor were nice, explained their reasonings, and seemed knowledgeable. However, I was disappointed with the appointment. The doctor was reliant on the diagnosis from an MSLT without wanting to explore other testing procedures or diagnostic criteria despite those being available and my child’s symptoms showing there is more wrong than just being an overly tired teenager. (I know the MSLT is pretty standard, but the latest research shows it to be less reliable than previously believed) Ultimately, he was given yet another stimulant to try and keep him awake, but I am sure this one will not work either. We have a follow-up appointment, but will likely look for another doctor. Whatever is happening to my child is literally ruining his life and I just want to find someone who can help him.
It was smooth sailing. Everyone was so kind and nice. Most of all understanding. They asked questions and answered all of mine. There were no rush and they took the time to listen to me. All are great people and I am blessed to have such a wonderful and knowledgeable staff working with me. Thank all of you and may God bless each and everyone of you.
I had my first visit and everything went smooth and easy. All staff was friendly and really listened. Now, I'm waiting to pick up my In-Home Sleep Study equipment to explore treatment options. I will update once we move forward.
