This practice is the most mismanaged office I have ever used. Consistently I am not seen for an hour or more after my scheduled appointment time. I was told they double book appts and this contributes to why they run late. They want me to be to my appt on time but have no regard for seeing me by my appt time. Looking for an alternate doctor/practice. In addition, at the new location the handicapped parking might as well not be there since it is such a long walk to the building from the parking lot.
This was one of the few experiences where I felt heard and seen with a doctor. To be exact, one of three. She was patient, full of explanation (in a teachable understand your body way), and an advocate that listened to me. I left our conversation (better than calling it an appointment) with a clear sense of what I am experiencing) and with a game plan moving forward. I am calling her an advocate because she seeks the whole healing not just the parts that “concern” her.
My appt was scheduled for yesterday and I usually have a long wait before I actually get back to see the doctor. Yesterday was so much better. I got back to see Skye, the Nurse Practitioner who I've been working with, within a half an hour. All the staff here are so kind, very knowledgeable and professional in what they do. They are definitely worthy of the 5 stars I'm rating them with today!
I’m sitting in the office right now after watching people wait and complain because they’ve been waiting for 2 and 3 hours. I watched an elderly man walk in who was ten min late, and they told him he would need to reschedule “because he was late.” This office is so poorly run. The doctors and the NPs are excellent, but I wish there were other options in Birmingham.
Beautiful location and solid medical care. We had a very short wait before we were seen, just long enough to complete the admission paperwork. The nurse practitioner listened to our concerns and history and offered several options for further evaluation. She was willing to accommodate a complex work schedule. Free parking lot very close to the entrance. The only hiccup was that they lost the intake paperwork we had completed online before the visit, so we had to fill it out again manually in the waiting room.
