I was called by Diane today about scheduling a sleep study. I asked if the office was open on the weekends and she stated no. I then told her I would contact the NP who ordered the sleep study so I could request to have it done at Southeast Health. This lady stated, “you can’t just call a Hospital and schedule yourself, you need a consultation.” I am well aware of that and that is not what I said. When you speak to me in a rude manner, we then have a problem. I am in the healthcare field and it makes no sense to be rude or talk to someone like they are ignorant. Diane please stop having a hateful tone when speaking with patients. You never know when the situation may be you as the patient and someone speaks to you like you tried to with me. I don’t do RUDE people!

Do not use. Every time they are an hour behind and no communication. Ability for appointments is abysmal. Use another clinic. They will overcharge both insurance and private payment. Staff if very unfriendly. Information given is often wrong. Communication back to primary care provider is nonexistent

My husband was referred for a sleep study. His appointment was scheduled at 8:20, he arrived at 8 as requested and then started the waiting. 1 hour with 3 other patients waiting. No one being called back, nothing. After wasting my PTO, gas and co-pay I left. Do NOT recommend as obviously they have no respect for their patients.

I’ve been reading the reviews and I have to disagree. So far, I’ve had a great experience. It is hard to get through on the phones, I agree but when I had to leave a message, I got a return call within a few minutes. My first appt, I waited about 10 minutes. Met with the Dr who was great. I had my sleep study last night and the technicians were very nice and answered questions appropriately. The place was clean and as comfortable as a sleep study could be

My wife and I have been on CPAP therapy for over 10 years. After moving to the Dothan area we established our health care with a wonderful doctor in Ozark. The doctor referred us to Michael Labanowski Southern Sleep Clinic. On our first appointment we waited 2 hours to be seen. When Dr. Labanowski did see us he spent about 5 min. Told us the actual sleep clinic would call us. Weeks went by and started calling SSC to see what was going on; no one answered the phone. This happened numerous times and left messages, but no one would call back. Finally went back to the office to go get some information. The conversation quickly turned into a fiasco because I was being treated very rudely. The staff first told me it was up to my insurance approval. I had called my insurance office beforehand who informed me they had no request from Labanowski. When I confronted the staff with this information, things escalated and they began to whine they were over worked, no one was there to deal with the case notes and there was nothing they could do about it. So I made them aware that was not an acceptable and Dr Labanowski need to manage his practice better. I left. Today received a letter not to come back. Never been fired from a doctor before. Frankly I find the entire time, from the first appointment to when I walked out to be disgusting treatment by Labanowski and his staff. He is not personable, needs better interaction with his patients, needs to manage his work load in his office better and the staff needs training in conflict resolution. Do not go to this office. Do so at your own risk if you want an uncaring unprofessional doctor managing your health care
