Dr. K.J. Shah

Dr. K.J. Shah has been my primary care physician and my pulmonary doctor since 2000! He is very smart and thorough. This town is blessed to have him here. Everyone who knows him will say the same things. He is very intelligent, caring, and skillful in his pulmonary and sleep medicine clinic. You will always find him at his office or the hospitals. I don't see where he has the time to sleep. He has over 15,000 patients. I don't want to even think about him retiring one day. He is irreplaceable. I am honored that he is my physician. ❣️✝️🙏🏻🤗

Joke my mom had her kidney removed 2 months ago I told her to go to UAB for 2nd option but she wouldn't and she's been hurting every since the surgery and then all he says is o you can hurt a burn for uo to 6 months to a year not like this pain like this and burning doesn't happen for no reason one dr from this Joke town messed me up and I retired his butt let me take my mom to UAB and something be wrong his butt will be going back to Texas broke bc

Dr. Shah had been my mom's lung doctor for over a decade. Her neurologist found a spot on her lung a year ago and when we went back to shah he stated it wasn't nothing but a nodule to keep an eye on. When my mom persisted to have a biopsy done, he sent her to one robotic place her insurance would not pay for. When she called for 3 weeks after to tell him and his staff about it she would get the run around. Long story short, we went to a new pulmonary doctor and come to find out she has stage 1 lung cancer. Now this could have been dealt with and had something done about it a year ago when it was found. But bc of his negligence and his staffs negligence of non communication and doing his job, we found someone else who cares about their patient enough to have done the job Dr shah should have.

Dr. Shah and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Shah took the time to explain everything to me. My underlying condition had been missed by several Drs. Once my diagnosis was made and treatment started I immediately noticed improvement. When I called and left a message that I needed a rescue inhaler the response was unbelievably quick. I left the message and within 30 minutes was notified that the prescription was ready. I absolutely was shocked. His staff is wonderful to talk to and I've seen them be unbelievably payient with people in the waiting room. They are also very mindful of privacy. I highly recomend Dr. Shah for any pulmonary health needs.

We could not have asked for better service! Shah Medical Clinic of Northeast Alabama and Dr Shah himself including his entire staff have been proficient, professional and courteous. They surpassed our expectations We highly recommend them to anyone Who is experiencing pulmonary issues.
