MUSC Health Sleep Center Haile Street

I had kaylyn ,she was very nice and professional. She answered all my questions, and better informed than the doctor,,who sent me. My room was very clean nice queen size bed. Unfortunately because I am claustrophobic, I couldn't take that cpap mask on my face , I tried 4 different ones, the last one was just going up my nose , I even tried watching TV, so it would keep my mind off it ,but nope. She Said that I can try again or some other thruphy. She said I did better than some other claustrophobic people.

I am a fairly new resident to Columbia, SC. The thought of having to start all of my medical needs over in a new state has been a bit overwhelming and scary at times, not knowing if I would get the same caliber of care I received at my previous medical facilities. So when I was told I needed to have a sleep study done I was referred to the MUSC Sleep Health Center. I had a very positive experience from start to finish. The facility itself is extremely clean and well-maintained. Inviting and not scary at all. The private room and bathroom made the overnight stay much more comfortable than I expected, and the environment felt safe and calming. My sleep technician, Mary Smarr, was outstanding. She was kind, easy to talk to, and explained everything clearly without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable. Her respectful and friendly demeanor helped ease any anxiety I had going into the study. I truly appreciate the level of care and professionalism she showed. Overall, I highly recommend the MUSC Sleep Health Center for anyone needing a sleep study.

Wasn’t nervous at all being in a new place and knowing i had to sleep here instead of my own bed. My nurse was very kind and patient. She explained everything with great detail. My room was excellent. Very nice clean and cozy. The facility is nice and clean and very quiet. I would definitely consider using MUSC’s sleep center if anyone is in need of a sleep study. My experience was pleasant and not once did i feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Michelle took very good care of me during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. And michelle was very helpful, patient and kind. I felt comfortable and had a great nights rest. Thankyou for everything I really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience. Michelle Kelly was phenomenal. The room far surpassed my expectations as the bed was extremely comfortable, room temperature was perfect. The whole experience from the initial call to schedule the session, arrival, orientation..everything..far surpassed my expectations as the last sleep study I had at a different location and different hospital system 10 years ago was a nightmare.
