Had 2 nights here. one for basic sleep study, then one for Cpap pressure and narcolepsy testing. my night tech both times was absolutely phenomenal - William. Very quiet during the night when adjusting various wires etc. while i was asleep/dozing, gave me a heads-up when the big bright lights were about to come on, and made sure i had a fan in the room (i always sleep w a fan at home). Then taking of all the wires he didn't pull at my hair at all. The other tech, daytime, yanked. OUCH!
I had my sleep study done about a year ago. This was a horrible experience. Since then I have NEVER seen the doctor since I had my sleep study. I called to get results and never would get a call back or make an appointment. No one would answer any questions, stated they are only tech's and I would have to speak with Dr. Hunter. After trying to get in I just gave up. Just overall bad experience all around.
I know that the likelihood of speaking to your doctor over the phone is slim if at all possible; however, this office is the most unprofessional I’ve seen in a very long time! Yes, they were good when I first started seeing them, years ago, but things have changed and new hires have been hired on. Your chances of speaking to a real person are almost nonexistent and leaving a message is pointless because no one ever calls you back! I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone for a week now and have left several messages. Understanding that the shortage on medications is not their fault, leaving me without the option for a different type of medication has wreaked havoc on my life. Narcolepsy is not fun, being unable to wake up is even less fun when I’ve got 3 kids, a job and trying to finish my degree, yet they continue to talk me in circles when I do talk to a real person. I do not recommend this office unless you are okay with miscommunication, questions going unanswered, and being out right ignored when you call with a problem!
The staff is always abundantly helpful and going over and beyond for their patients. From the front office, who are always smiling and to the night staff who guide you throw your sleep study. They have all patiently helped me and provided great explanations for all my questions at any time. Dr. Hunter is a very kind hearted man who doesn’t make you feel like an appointment but makes you feel like a patient, who is cared for. He takes his time and gets to know you.
Dr. Hunter is very knowledgeable and professional. My experience there was very positive. I have had sleep issues for years, and within 20 minutes, despite complications of over-lapping symptoms, he had a clear idea of what to look for. My sleep tests were scheduled quickly, and the results appointment was the same. After years of trying to discover the root of my issues, within a month, I had the answers I needed to get a correct treatment plan started.
