My 3rd sleep study was here last Wednesday night ( August 14th 2024). I can tell that you guys aren't too concerned about how the patients are treated here by the fact you're not answering reviews. I'll also be sending a complaint email to the hospital and my insurance company. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea over 30 years ago. I have been on a cpap ever since. My first study was at Marshall Medical in the early 90s. After 2 hrs or so of testing they put a cpap on me to start testing titration. Around 9 years ago I had a study in Gadsden. Same scenario 2 hours or so and they're testing titration. Last Wednesday after 2 hours or so I was asked "Why aren't you sleeping?". My answer was "I have sleep apnea. I can't get good sleep without a cpap." I just got a blank stare. Exactly what is going on here? I was tortured that night and left with my throat so sore from snoring I could barely speak. I was told that no report had been ran so I didn't even know how many times I stopped breathing. The last 2 studies I was told after 2 hours or so how many times I had stopped breathing. This was the worst possible experience with a rude and unfriendly tech. I would be ashamed to have someone like her working for me.

I had my sleep study here and I have to say I had one of the BEST sleep techs his name was Ben and he made me feel as comfortable as he could.

I've had sleep studies in Birmingham, so I have something to compare to. I have used a cpap for 14 years with pressure at around 12. My current machine is a variable machine. I average around 12.7. I tossed and turned all night, could not sleep, and felt like I was suffocating. Found out the next morning the highest pressure they tested was 11, and that was after I insisted on more pressure right before the test was over. Tech said everything went great. Don't have my prescription yet, but it the highest pressure they tried was 11, and he said I didn't have enough time to evaluate that pressure, I'm in trouble. Their job is to try different pressures and figure out which one works, not ignore the fact that you are rolling all over the bed and hardly sleeping. I told him the pressure I normally run. I won't have another study done their. All I need is a new machine, mine is wearing out. I don't need to change my settings.

I waiting 2 hours to go to bed. The equipment wouldn't work properly. I was awoken several times by doors closing, trucks on the hwy, and phones ringing. Worst night sleep in a long time!

After I got my c pap they had my pressure set way to high and the sleep doctor from lakeside North kept making charges on me even after I quit seeing him biggest scam I've ever encountered in my life.
