This is absolutely the worst hospital I have ever came across! They do nothing! It is an absolute joke to have a nurse practitioner as the only doctor in an emergency dept.
My Sister-in-Law was admitted 9/22/25 via ambulance to this hospital. She was a very ill 67 year old woman. On the 24th I received a phone call from a nurse needing to speak with my husband. He was presently attending a funeral of a business partner and I asked if I needed to send someone in to get my husband. SIL blood pressure was very low and they could not keep pushing fluids and that she had signed a DNR. She also stated the hospital did not have access to the medication to help raise her BP. Long story short, after being “treated” at this hospital, my SIL was discharged on 10/4/25 to go home. My husband managed to get her to the porch with a walker where she collapsed. My husband called ambulance and had her brought to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oktibbeha County, where she is in ICU !!!!
My appointment was at 11 AM. I didn't see the Dr till 12:45 PM. I felt fine when I went in. Was hurting so bad when I finally got out. I was only there for a prescription refill. If you're 10 minutes late you have to reschedule. They don't care how long you have to wait.
5 stars because Shannon McCain is an exceptional N.P. who stands out for her down-to-earth nature, kindness, and knowledge. She establishes a connection with her patients, avoiding judgment and providing a comfortable environment.
Went here about 5 months ago for excruciating pain . Almost labor like it was so bad. I told the Dr I probably have an ovarian cyst because I've had them before . I wasn't even able to finish my sentence before he interrupted, wrote a prescription for antibiotics and then just left the room . I sat there stunned because I wanted to ask for an ultrasound but didn't want to get that rude Dr mad at me . Now 5 months later I'm going to a different Dr because the cyst was never dealt with properly . All I needed was an ultrasound because I feel like I had a big one rupture. Instead he brushed me under the rug , interrupted and now I'm having health complications relating to the same issue.
