My experience with Neurology Consults of North Mississippi has been extremely disappointing. Calls and refill requests go unanswered for days, and after my recent appointment, none of my prescribed medications were called in. What was the point of the visit if my migraine preventatives and rescue medications are not going to be filled? Even more concerning, my medical chart included a note stating “avoid -redacted medication-,” which falsely implies an allergy or misuse issue that does not exist. The lack of communication, follow-through, and accuracy in documentation is unacceptable for a medical practice. I strongly urge the office to address these issues and prioritize patient safety and professionalism.

At first my initial visit was fine but as time went on both the receptionist, neurologist and neurosurgeon I saw were very rude and condescending. I waited to post this but back in 2022 I was diagnosed with IIH which is a brain issue that involves too much fluid in the brain. My overall experience in the beginning they helped me a whole lot, the nurse practioner was very nice and helped me with all of my issues. But after my surgery, i developed a new problem, and this seem to agitate the neurologist, when they couldnt figure why I was having these complications. One time I was admitted into a hospital for some of the symptoms I was having and called the receptionist to let my doctor know her response was, "yea and your calling to tell him what". It was very frustrating As I was only trying to get to the bottom on what exactly I was experiencing for myself, because it was still pretty new to me, plus i was trying to pick my life back up were i left it as a college student. All it took for me was the neurologist rude attitude, and I couldn't take it and never went back. He stormed out and as I was trying to explain exactly what was happening, "saying i wasnt even sure what exactly im talking about", and accused me of intentionally stopping my medicine even though I contacted the receptionist to clearly state why i stopped. Absolutely wouldnt recommend this place, but best of luck and prayer to all. "AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE".

Paige Sanders is wonderful, caring and up-to-date. I have been seeing her for years for migraine relief and she has been compassionate and supportive. I recommend her to anyone.

My appointment was an hour and nine minutes ago. I'm in the exam room waiting and have been waiting, in here for the Dr, for 22 minutes. Unless you would like to WASTE an entire afternoon waiting, try everything possible to go anywhere else. Finally got to see a PA one hour and thirty nine minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Not even the person I was scheduled to see. Definitely not a productive appointment.

The staff here are super nice. I was greeted with a smile. It was my first visit. The receptionist took me thru step by step in the new patient process. I was called back within 3 minutes. The nurse was excellent. She took time to explain everything. Dr Kanabar came in and was super nice, interested in my health and actually took the time to talk to me one on one. When the appointment was over I went to the receptionist again and quickly scheduled my appointment. I didn't feel like a piece of meat in an assembly line. I was treated super well. My whole visit took less than 40 minutes.
