I had a sleep study done in Arizona 5 years ago & was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I went for a study last week at Frye Regional Sleep Center. I can't stress enough how bad it was. The room was equipped with a small twin sized hospital bed (sleep centers usually have a comfortable bed like the one you have at home, usually with a full or queen size bed). The top sheet was so small it barely came to the edges of the bed. During my sleep study the machine broke down three separate times and the technician had to come in to rearrange my wires. On the fourth breakdown it finally gave up all together. It was just about impossible to actually fall asleep during all of this. The results came back inconclusive so now I'm basically screwed and having to pay for a useless sleep study. Stay as far away from this sleep Center as you can.
Had sleep study at Frye on 6/28/18. Worst experience I've ever had, even compared to aortic valve replacement. Put me in a room next to the "generator", which sounded like two Harley's reved to the max in your room. The lady doing my study said oh, they'll turn it off after while. Bed was a mattress on a wooden platform with pillows 1 1/2 inches thick. There was a glass window between the room I was trying to sleep in and the two girls doing the study. It had a shade over it but you could hear them talking, opening and closing drawers and doors all night long. Two others had a study that night and they were up and across the hall. Much quieter location. I called the next day and complained to the lady over the program, she said she was sorry. I have tried yo forget about it but just received the bill today. Charged over FIVE THOUSAND for the test and over SIX HUNDRED for the doctor to read it. Biggest rip off ever. I've always thought highly of Frye but this episode makes me reconsider the possibility of them ever doing anything for me again.
