I had to go to the NMmc,iuka today.the Dr determined I had chronic bronchitis n asthma.the nurses there are the best, sweetest, you ever wanted to meet.they work hard to take care of their patients..Thank you all and Dr Mayfield.you guys are Awesome.
Terrible place to take someone. Do yourself a favor and skip on down the road to where they actually know what they’re doing! I hope by now Dr Williams is gone. That man definitely has no business practicing medicine. He’s about as ignorant as they come. And does not know how to listen to the patient at all.
Stella speed and precision! They prioritized my appointments and executed the procedures quickly and professionally!! As a veteran dealing with the VA, NMMC is TOP notch!!!! I hope to have more referrals for care at their location! Special shout out to Brandy!! You went above and beyond to get me taken care of!! Thank you! God bless NMMC-Iuka!!
I recently moved to Tishomingo County Mississippi. On Sunday, I had a freak accident in my right hand ended up engulfed in flames. Fortunately I was able to extinguish the fire quickly, but the pain was excruciating and large blisters began forming almost immediately. Since the fire engulfed my entire hand, I was worried about swelling. I made my way to this hospital and was by the lady at the window. I was instructed to have a seat in the lobby and someone would be with me shortly. A little over two hours later, I was still sitting in the lobby. Still in pain, I was unsure when, or if I was going to receive treatment and left the hospital and sought medical treatment else where. I will not be returning to this hospital for any treatment and have instructed my family, I I am ever unconscious, to refuse to send me to this hospital, but instead send me to the Shoals Area in Alabama. Totally unhappy.
I took my sick husband to the ER in Iuka. He had stage 4 cancer and his calcium was high. Our primary doctor told us to go to the ER to get medication to bring it down. We were told by Dr. McIntosh that he should just go home because he would be dead in 3 days anyway. After about 3 hours of back and forth she finally agreed to treat him but only if he signed a DNR. My poor husband was told to go home and die by this woman. He lived another 3 months not 3 days but his spirit and fight died that day. I will never forgive the way she treated him. Of course I filed a complaint but it was worthless. I've had so many people tell me they were treated the same by this doctor. I don't understand how this can be ignored.
