Don’t go here unless you just need a bandage or Tylenol. This place is a complete joke that calls themselves an ER & hospital.

Warning: Maternity Desert. Lord forbid if you go into early labor. You would be told to drive yourself to the nearest obgyn which will be Jackson or Starkville.

If I could give -1 stars I would! I called to try and make an appointment!! So unprofessional! First off answered the phone as “HELLO!!!!” Instead of stating hospital name and how may I help you?” Secondly hung up! I’m thinking it was a mistake so I called back and the heifer answered and hung up in my my face yet again! All I could hear was laughing and talking in the background! I had a good mind to drive up there and get names to report the individual but this will suffice!!

Very rude staff unfortunately. My step mother is a patient here and is afraid to get out of bed because day shift won’t put her back in bed within a reasonable time. I went to the nurses station to ask for water and the nurse Erica ignored me despite me being the only patron at the desk and no other staff member around. She had a very bad disposition. I tried to lighten the moment with small chit chat by asking what their nurse patient nurse ratio was and she told me she didn’t know then followed it with “you asked for ice and water, didn’t you?” She filled the pitcher with ice but when I asked if the water was changed she told me that it gets changed daily and would not pour fresh. Very unfortunate for patients when they are sick and there only because they need help.

Excellent emergency room staff. Dr. Brady Richardson was on call. Great attention to my issue. Quite efficient and thorough, and a great sense of humor to lighten the mood. Helpful, caring nurses. Great all around treatment
