I have been very pleased with my doctor, but the lab folks are awful! They consistently blew my veins, but luckily my doctor hired her own phlebotomist. Been smooth sailing ever since. Now, if I only need blood work done, I refuse to go to the lab and request my doctor's phlebotomist. I also like its convenience to me. If it moves to Rankin or Madison like every other group has, I will have to find someone who's left in Jackson. BTW, tacking on a charge for a hospital fee is just ludicrous. Just because it is associated with a hospital, doesn't turn it into a hospital. Luckily, my 2 insurances deny payment for such a frivolous charge. I find this 'mean-spirited' by Baptist Health Systems or whatever it is called.
After using this clinic for approximately 8 years, I was told at my last annual checkup they were not booking appointments but would call patients to schedule the next years appt, was left with no doctor......never got that call, Using MEA for refills till I find a personal doctor!
First Visit Last Visit! I Tend To Like Doctors Who Are Legitimately Concerned With My Health And I Didn't Get That Feeling From The Person I Recently Saw; It Felt Like An Assembly Line And She Didn't Wanted To Spend Any More Time Then She Had To. This Was A Piss Poor Example Of A Wellness Visit! Google Did A Better Job Of Explaining My Lab Results Then They Did.
Doesn't get much worse than this - Building full of nurse practitioners with no doctors in sight, and good luck ever getting anyone to actually answer a phone call for an appointment, to reschedule an appointment, or to get medication. Baptist is maximizing profits at the patients expense. I wouldn't trust this place to treat my dog since Baptist has made all their changes.
BE AWARE! THIS FACILITY CHARGES A 246.00 HOSPITAL FEE FOR WHAT MY INSURANCE CALLS RENTAL FEE OF BUILDING BY DOCTOR. IF YOUR INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER THIS FEE YOU THE PATIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FEE. I HAVE SEEN A DOCTOR IN THIS BUILDING 3 TIMES SO NOW I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR OVER 700.00 DOLLARS JUST BECAUSE THE DOCTOR WAS IN THIS BUILDING.
