Just settling down form my unfortunate health scare. The surgeon, doctors, nursing staff, and housekeeping team all treated me with the utmost care and respect. But one nurse on the 2nd floor ❤️Brandy❤️ made me completely comfortable being there and truly appreciated how attentive, kind, and professional she was. Thursday morning I had to put my dog of 12 years to sleep due to cancer. Late Friday night I fell ill with gallbladder issues which resulted in the removal of it. The treatment, care and compassion I received was just what I needed. I recommend UMMC Madison !

Appendicitis landed me at their clinic. The entire staff was phenomenal. Though it's a smaller hospital, they were able to do the operation in house. Had me discharged super quick. Surgeon Erin Cummins did a great job. Nurses and admissions staff were very helpful. And Nurse Carmon stayed late to ensure my discharge went smoothly.

Hi! I went to urgent care yesterday for what I thought was a virus, but after blood work and a high white blood cell count, urgent care sent me to the ER. I’ve been here before and had a good experience. There wasn’t any wait time for me, and the girl that checked me in was very sweet. My nurse Kaleb who triaged me was also very kind. My nurse Claudia that took care of me was exceptional. Dr Meyers was my doctor, and I believe they were all angels in disguise. I ended up having a kidney infection. I had been throwing up for hours prior, and I couldn’t keep water down. I had a feeling I needed to get checked out. Turns out I wasn’t listening to my body. I initially thought it was a physical reaction to some emotional distress. I’m really glad I listened to my body and sought medical attention. Claudia and Dr Meyers went above and beyond for me, and their care was exemplary. They truly exemplify the servant’s heart that healthcare professionals have. I can’t say enough good things. I did also call today and left a message thanking them that I really hope they receive. The healthcare profession is not an easy job, and they are truly heroes. I’ll always remember the kindness and compassion they showed me, and the care I received meant the world to me.

Came in for an allergic reaction but the dude who check me in didn't think it was serious enough. I had to call in the back and ask when I'm going to be seen cause I'm pregnant. Took almost 2 hours to be seen and they let someone else go before me. Night shift needs to do better. When I finally went to the back and seen the "dr", he said he will be right back but I waited 30 minutes nobody came back there. I decided to leave and everyone in the back was just talking and laughing. It shouldn't have taken that long to give me a shot. Now they're saying I left right before they were going to give me a shot but they wasn't. They are lying and I will never go back here again not even if it's life or death.

This is not a hospital, This is a building with people that have degrees but actually do not care about patient care. Every time I come to this hospital, I have to wait in the lobby 2 to 3 hours. Then once you get to the back, you waiting 4 to 5 hours. For a Band-Aid and some Tylenol. This time I was in the waiting room for an hour two people were already there when I got there and two people came after me. They called all four to the back. The ones before me and the ones after me. I walked out as in pain as I am and did not want to drive to Jackson. That’s what I have to do to seek medical help. This “hospital” has been like this for years and it has not gotten any better. They don’t believe in cleaning anytime you go into a hospital room and there’s blood and tissue with blood from the previous patient left in the room they don’t care.
