Northside Hospital Sleep Disorder Center Roswell

From the moment I arrived, I had a feeling this was going to be a frustrating experience. There were no signs on the door—which was locked—and it wasn’t until I went back to my packet that I noticed a brief note buried on page five instructing me to ring a gray box on the wall. I don’t understand how difficult it would be to simply post a sign so patients know they’re in the right place. The staff member who assisted me was very friendly, and that was the only positive part of the entire experience. Saying the bed was uncomfortable is an understatement. It was one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The setup reminded me of a run-down Motel 6, right down to the thin sheets and outdated furnishings. I was there to determine whether my oxygen levels were dropping during sleep, hoping to find a solution. Instead, I spent the night tossing and turning, never falling into a deep sleep—let alone the kind of sleep where my usual oxygen issues would surface. As a result, the test came back showing that my oxygen levels were fine while using my CPAP. This has now complicated things further, because the insurance company sees that result and assumes everything is fine, delaying any real investigation into the actual problem. If you're looking for an accurate sleep study, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

My experience with Northside Hospital Sleep Disorders Center in Roswell was wonderful! I worked closely with James who helped me through the sleep study process. He is personable and very friendly, the instructions were clear. Chanel took me through setting up the sleep device. She is knowledgeable and really set me up nicely which allowed me to adapt to the new machine quickly. I have had a great response to the APAP so far thanks to this wonderful staff. What a wonderful experience I had at Northside Sleep Roswell! I'm being treated for sleep apnea & received my APAP machine there. Chanel was terrific. She's clearly knowledgeable & took time to explain how to use the machine & patiently answered my many questions. Most importantly, she gave me hope that my sleep could improve, sharing the many benefits an APAP can bring. I've been using my machine for a week & I'm starting to feel more rested. And Chanel has been on hand, answering additional questions as things progress. Thank you!
