The staff here work efficiently and with care. I was in so much pain when arrived around 1pm and was out a little after 3 feeling better after their diagnosis/treatment. Bri, Dr. Meacham and nurse Kelly (I may have the spelling wrong) were kind and knowledgeable. So was the lady who drew my blood, and I didn’t feel a thing from the needle. (I was in way more pain and couldn’t focus when she told me her name but I remember She is left handed).
Absolutely amazing experience! My 5 year old had a surgery done and the entire staff was so friendly from security all the way to the doctors. Highly recommend this hospital coming from a mom, felt safe and knew what was happening with my child the entire visit. Updated from room to room.
Only have experience with the maternity ward, but will forever speak highly to any expectant mothers. They were quick, polite, and caring with every need me and baby had both in delivery and out. I could not brag enough on the nurses and doctors who helped both bring my baby into this world and made sure we were okay after!
My stay at Baptist was very good. All of the staff were awesome everybody was so caring and loving and most of all truly concerned about my health and gave me the best care. The physical therapist Mr. Bread was just an inspiration such a blessing. i couldn't just vote for one nurse or aid to receive the Daisy award because they were great. I was in room 235 and everyone was absolutely the best.
I cannot say enough good things about my delivery experience at Baptist in New Albany. My doctor, Dr. Paiquin, is truly the best OB doctor. She listens to my concerns and is a genuine advocate for women’s health. The nurses I had from 11/29–12/1/25 were the sweetest nurses I’ve ever encountered, and you can tell they truly love what they do. One nurse gave me helpful tips about breastfeeding. I was feeling down because my milk supply hadn’t come in yet, and I was worried my son wasn’t getting anything from my breasts. She reassured me that he was getting something because he was still having bowel movements and wet diapers. She also told me that I am a good mother and not to doubt myself. I wish I could remember her name, but I will never forget her. I also had the sweetest nurse named Tammy, who took excellent care of me. I am honestly sad that my time at the hospital is over, but I’m extremely grateful for the nurses who made the experience life-changing. I also remember the nurses I had before my C-section. They reassured me that everything was going to be okay and made sure I was comfortable, which eased my nerves a lot. I will never forget my birth experience here, and I will recommend this hospital to any expecting moms looking for a place to deliver.
