If LISA thought her fake nice nasty voice and condescending tone was professional. I’ve lost all hope for this growing organization. Northside really will keep anything. This isn’t the first time she’s been like this over the phone. In person won’t even look at you to address a question the professional way, and or cutting you off. The face of the organization but never knows anything. Thanks a lot LISA! Wish I could give 0 stars for the staff.
I feel very much on my own in my cpap adventure. I went for a recheck today and I told Bryce I’d struggled greatly. He wondered why my pressure was turned down. I informed him. I’ve been waiting two weeks for my next headset that was supposed to arrive within the week. I struggled a lot with some issues, mostly due to mouth breathing, but I googled and finally solved them myself. (Dry mouth, mask placement, etc.) Ive called in for help three times on different issues, hoping not to bother them. I only called when necessary, like when my headset didn’t come in. I’ve had two days of success with my sleep, finally! However, I was told to make another appointment in 3-4 months. New headset coming, only two days of success with the old headset in the last two months. He said it was obvious I had mask struggles. I felt that time frame was not appropriate. I asked for a closer appointment and am coming in: in another month. I feel like I am not getting enough help, and am feeling like I am a bother. I’m 74 and trying my best. On a good note, I saw a chart on Reflux in the exam room, asked for help and Bryce has given me a prescription for a med that sounds promising. At least that was a big WIN for me.
Great experience at this facility. Professional, efficient, friendly. Being treated like an old friend since the first visit, by Dr Chuangsheng Wu, Dan Durkin (the PAP Therapist), and everyone at the front desk. Really appreciate you all for super help!
Doctors are good. But, practice belongs to a hospital and their service is terrible. If you are looking to do a CPap fit, go anywhere but here. They spent about 5 mins with me and I ended up with a mask that did not work. Yet, I had to pay! I have tried to call someone and it is impossible to get a hold of anyone who can do something because the office refers you to talk to the hospital and after multiple messages I simply gave up!
Beyond rude. Made an appointment and was told I required a chest x-ray prior, which makes complete sense. Initial setup of the appointment was great. However, as the week progressed, I couldn't guarantee I could get the x-ray completed in time (while balancing work) before the appt. I called with 24-hrs notice to reschedule. I was passed off to a member of staff who tells me "in this case" I can just come in and the doctor can get the results later. If that's true, why not just state that from the beginning? The tone was condescending, like this is something I should have just inherently known and why was I calling about it. I was not rude, I followed up within the requested timeframe, and did everything that was asked. I canceled the appointment all together as this seemed like a glaring red flag and indicator of what future interactions might be like. I'm honestly tired of paying for health insurance and having to deal with rude office staff, being overcharged for services and having to file grievances with insurance to get billing depts to send a refund, and claims submitted codes for services not actually rendered. I can't speak to the expertise or bedside manner of the physicians as I didn't get that far, but I'll be looking elsewhere for care.
