Didn’t even make it to the appointment. They told me literally days before the appointment that the doctor wouldn’t see my child because she has a different provider name on her insurance card. They wanted me to call and have it switched over. For one that’s not my job, that’s what the insurance/billing department is for. My child has never been to the provider on her insurance card, and we have never had any issues getting her an appointment. She’s had surgeries and everything with the same insurance card. I’ve been in healthcare for over 15 years and have never heard of anything like this. Secondly, they didn’t even give me a provider’s name when I scheduled the appointment, so how can I put a name on an insurance card with no provider name given. I was told they weren’t even sure who she would see. We had this appointment scheduled for months, someone should have told me when I made the appointment. I asked to reschedule soon could get everything situated and they gave me a date 5 months out. Lazy, overbooked, and unprofessional were my first impressions before we even made it into the building. My son goes here and they have been great with him. He loves all the Nurses and Doctors he sees and loves the waiting room i love their set up and quick way to check in!
We had a really pleasant experience here. Came in for an ultrasound on my baby and was in and out in about 30 minutes. The facility is easy to find, clean, which is nice. Makes the children’s hospital look like a prison, unfortunately :( the staff here at Kennedy was friendly and warm which is nice when you’re nervous about whatever you’re dealing with that brought you there.
Actually at Kennedy Children's Outpatient Center to take a 16 year old to the orthopedist. The staff is pleasant, helpful, funny, and disinfected objects whilst I was there. Dr. Adams is great! Highly recommend this center for children. The train engine out front is sooo nice to see!
My 13 year old son seen a Dr in the gastrointestinal department. The staff took really good care of him and his needs. We arrived early and got in early, most of the time that doesn't happen. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and prompt. There are vending machines with an area to sit and eat. Parking can be a challenge so get there early for that alone. Masks are required as of March 2021. Handicap accessible.
