The surgeon was excellent! My concern is the lack of professionalism with one of the nurses which made both my husband and I uncomfortable. I am a RN with 25 years of experience and has accompanied my husband on numerous hospital stays. I have never seen such a handsy nurse like what I witnessed at this hospital. She kept touching my husband on his shoulder and his knee during her conversation with us while he was sitting up. If this was a coworker this could be considered sexual harassment because the touch was unwanted. My husband felt vulnerable because of his surgery and didn't say anything to the nurse but he later told me it bothered him. This crosses the line of professionalism. Education on professionalism and sexual harassment is much needed. I should have spoken up sooner.
Needs updating, the building is old, the main entrance by E.R is always filthy. The doors have spills on them and it's like that every time you go. The staff at reception spend more time on fb and snacking than working. Does not come across well at all. Not professional by no means. Never see floors get mopped. Very dirty hospital.
As someone who has chronic health issues it was a nice change to have a MD treat me like an actual patient and not some frequent flyer. Thanks to Dr Sam in the ED for treating my crohns and not being dismissive. Kudos to this facility.

Got my COVID vaccine here. Fast and efficient! Staff was friendly and answered my questions well. No hesitation to return!
