NYU Langone Sleep Disorders Center - Garden City is an AASM-accredited sleep center located in Garden City, NY. The clinic specializes in home sleep testing, in-lab sleep testing (Polysomnography), and sleep medicine consultation. Patients can receive expert care for insomnia, insufficient sleep syndrome, narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), pediatric sleep disorders, rem sleep behavior disorder (RBD), restless legs syndrome (RLS), shift work disorder, and sleep-related eating disorder.

Definitely need to revamp this place, literally yelling and speaking to me in a rude condescending way (Jessica). Will never go back here or recommend it, and I’ve been to almost every NYU location/specialities over my 15 years of being a patient of NYU. No wonder it’s always empty and still a 40 min wait.
The doctor was nice but terrible overall experience My study showed I needed a CPAP. which took several months to receive. I tried to use it however the type and size was not right causing me to not use it. I called the office several time to discontinue use and was told I’d get a call back but never did . After 6 weeks I finally received a return label to ship it back.
Very Polite and professional people! Especially the nightshift nurse in charge. She was very helpful easygoing during my sleep test. If you need a sleep test done, this would be the place to do it. However, the doctors are a different story.
IF I COULD GIVE THIS A ZERO STAR, I WOULD GIVE IT A ZERO IN A HEARTBEAT!!! Dr. Qanta Ahmed has very poor bedside manners which I can deal with but she is awfully rude and extremely disrespectful and condescending. She talks down to her patients which is very unprofessional for a physician that I am paying a service for. She likes to hear herself speak and you cannot ask any questions until she is good and ready…..at that point you will forget the question you previously wanted clarification on. She does not listen to her patients, she rushes the appointment, she gives you a quick summary and walks right out. You are totally caught off-guard by her rude attitude that you can’t even internalize anything she says. Her own staff, at the first meeting, stated she was very rude and condescending and that doesn’t like to answer questions. Should have listened to them but we found out first hand. I would never recommend her. Look elsewhere for a Sleep Center. Her staff on the other hand is very nice.
1st day Loved it. Great staff and environment 6 month Update : Every visit gets worst and worst. They lie about co pay price they mail you a rediculis bill. Which I reallu wouldn't mind paying. But the overall bedside manor from the Dr. A needs improving. She does not take time to listen to the patient. Plus the medical supplier HAMPTON has no care for patients. These 2 combined is a travesty. Have to take my sleeping problems some where else.
