Dr. Lauren Davis was remarkable! She made us feel like the most important patients she has ever had. She took the time to completely explain everything. She found issues that a previous company had missed, made adjustments to my husband’s cpap on the spot. I don’t think I have ever been more comfortable with a doctor on first visit as we were with her. She’s a keeper. Her staff was equally phenomenal! Highly recommended!
I had a great experience at Pontchartrain Sleep Medicine in Covington! After trying for months and failing to get something for my insomnia that actually works from my PCP, mental health prescriber, and gynecologist, I saw Theresa Talbot and she was amazing! She gave me an Rx for Lunesta, the office worked to get pre-approval so my insurance would cover it after they initially refused it, and I have a sleep study scheduled in one week. I feel like someone is finally taking my sleep issues seriously and is looking into the root cause to get me the most effective help and relief. 5/5 stars for Pontchartrain Sleep Medicine!
Very nice people ,BUT...they are seriously over booked with patients. First, they did a home sleep study, which turned out to be useless because this was a change from CPAP to BiPAP. Wait a month for an in-lab study. Wait two weeks for the results. Then they didn't have my size mask. Had to wait another month for mask and machine. Mask didn't seal properly --they should have tested it on me before I left. Keep in mind that in 3 visits I never saw the one and only MD, just PAs and NPs. So 3 months and no working mask/machine. Medical care, anyone?
These people are there to get a job done. No tolerance if you don't do exactly as they due to your own illness nor do they care..disrespectful? You betcha'
