UDATE: I now have Grade 2 Diastolic Dysfunction of my heart from this fiasco. Untreated sleep apnea causes heart damage. 💔 Bogus sleep study. Someone literally was beating on the walls outside my room. They kept me up all night. I called them using my call bell to tell the techs, and they said they were "sorry" but that I had been put next to the room the techs are in monitoring the patient's sleep. This doctor undiagnosed my sleep apnea and periodic limb movement disorder from another sleep doctor/neurologist. He messed me up big time. He did it to another one of the neurologist's patients besides me!!! Wow. I moved and my cpap was stolen. Now because he undiagnosed my sleep apnea my insurance won't pay for another cpap. I actually need bipap now that my neuromuscular disease is much worse. I barely sleep at all. Anyway, this place destroyed any quality of lifevI had left. I haven't slept in years through the night.
Dr Snow & his staff are wonderful! They make the sleep study & cpap process seamless.
I had a very difficult time dealing with this office. The staff, while courteous, is practically never in the building! I have spent more time trying to reach them through their answering service than I actually have at an appointment. The doctor severely overreacted to a mole on my back and sent me to a dermatologist - only to find out there was nothing wrong. Nothing is more upsetting than having a sleep doctor tell you something is wrong with a mole when melanoma runs in your family! If you need a sleep doctor, go ahead and drive to Birmingham. I do not recommend having to go through the process of working with this office.
