I came here for my sleep study with Andre S., and she was so kind and patient. She took the time to explain everything to me beforehand, which really helped ease my nerves. I truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism.
I had a very frustrating experience at this sleep study center. For an appointment scheduled at 7 PM, they didn’t bother to mention in the instructions that after-hours check-in requires going through the emergency room entrance. Since it’s a sleep study, it’s obvious patients will be arriving after hours, yet there was no guidance provided. Instead, I ended up in the ER waiting room, sitting for a while and unnecessarily being exposed to who-knows-what germs. The instructions also didn’t explain where the sleep lab itself is located or where exactly to go once inside. To make matters worse, my appointment time came and went. I wasn’t officially checked in until 7:00, and now I’m just sitting in yet another waiting room wondering when — or if — the staff running my study will show up. Very poor communication, very poor organization. This kind of lack of clarity and efficiency adds a lot of stress to an already difficult process.
Worked with Samantha L. (Patient Service Representative III) over the phone today for scheduling and she went above and beyond to help me understanding what to ask for, how to proceed with all possible steps anticipated, and made the whole entry into this realm such a warm welcoming.
Came for a CPAP titration study and had no issues. Staff were friendly and facility seemed clean, accommodating, and nothing negatively real worthy. Personal bathroom, shower, furniture, a television, queen size bed or maybe King, fan, and decent sheets. If I had to complain, the bed could be more comfortable but it was all right.
I was skeptical about having my sleep study done at Inova Alexandria hospital based on negative reviews on Yelp. However, due to the convenient location, I decided to schedule an appointment. Ms. Judy K. is who schedule my appointment and she was very accommodating, kind and always pleasant when I called to ask questions about the facility. I am here at the sleep center now (6/2019) and the room is super clean, comfortable and huge!! The Technician is very nice. I feel safe here and I highly recommend this facility. Don’t believe the Yelp reviews. Call the office and request a tour prior to scheduling your sleep study. You will not be disappointed. -MSW
